Jets need D now that buff is out

Oilers: Russel (can play both sides and block shots) maybe adding a 3rd/4th round pick

Jets: Perreault


Jets get a needed D and oilers get a 3rd line player with potential to make the 2nd line with RnH and neal

Not a bad trade in terms of cap hit and term its pretty even, my only objection is both players have modified no trade clauses and my gut tells me Perrault wouldn't want to move his for Edmonton since they're another year away from playoffs.

The Oilers should keep their worthless 7/ 8 d-man. At $4 mil per he wouldn't help the Jets at all.
