Rumor out there that Shero and the Devils have a trade offer on the table for Liane.
3 first round draft picks and Severson.

Marcus said they should take 4 first round draft picks. So would you want Chevy to take this then if it is a true rumor? Simple question that’s all.

I wouldn't be averse to it. The only tripping point would be if there are any onerous restrictions placed on the first round picks.

I can't see it making sense for the Devils, but okay.

I think I read somewhere that Chevy was listing the price as 2 firsts, 2 A/ B prospects and/ or a roster player, depending on the players/ picks involved for anyone that called. So, it doesn't sound like he intends on moving Laine.

Think that’s a bit of an overpay if your the devils. I’d rather try the offer sheet for 4 picks rather than trading severson and 3.

if jets are at a standstill and aren't looking any closer to signing laine i don't see why they wouldn't do it. better to get something for him than to have him sit out the season if a contract can't be figured out.

Like the rumors about the Jets trading Ehlers I can't see the Jets trading Laine at this time. If they do trade Laine they would want #1 draft picks and A prospects not 3rd pairing d-men or bottom 6 forwards in return.
