Not even going to comment on the Marner deal but Dermotte holds a ton of value to the leafs why would the leafs trade the younger better cheaper dman for Russel even if he’s not better he’s certainly going to be. He’ll replace Muzzin as the 2nd pairing LHD.

I like the thinking along the Marner deal, but leafs are close to competing so they would need Dumba back.

No chance on the Dermott deal.

hell no on the dermott trade, not even close. marner for one does toronto have the cap for that trade? for 2 why would either team do that?
