So i tried to make what i thought would be a well rounded team:

1st Line (top line), 2nd (speed), 3rd (pesky) & 4th (grit)

Defence pairing 1 (top line), 2nd (heavy hitters), 3rd (shot blockers)

Is this salary compliennt? It just a lot of big conracts. don't feel like looking but definitely a good team. And agree with vbb. Ovechkin would look good on that 1st line on lw.

Was the goal to stay under the cap? Mackinnon would be much better than Larkin for a speedy 2nd line center, kucherov on top line, doughty or Jones top d man (Pietrangelo is one of my favourites) . Take Carey Price all day In net with a decent defensive team in front of him.

Draisaitl is not over rated. can't get his points and his style and be over rated. If he played with McDavid full time and gets the points he does he's still a great player.

Lol If Drai is overrated then what is Marner?
Drai has beaten Marner in points the last three seasons and is going to have a way way wayyy better contract. And the linemate argument isn’t even valid here what so ever. Both play with good players 5v5 and PP night in night out. Both or solid players and deserve the praise they get. But to call Drai overratred when you’re a Marner homer is way too funny. You’re a child and you always show it VB.

lol Drai-daddy overrated? McDavid got suspended and he literally carried the Oilers to two wins. Maroon got carried by McDavid. You don’t score 50 GOALS (! ) and finish 2nd in the Rocket Richard trophy (should have been first because Ovi had like 3 empty netters) .
Draisaitl was the third overall pick, third overall picks don’t get carried.
