IF each team could negotiate contracts with the RFAs what about this scenery change trade?

Winnipeg: Laine.

Well considering Marner had 94 points and is very good defensively compared to 50 points from Liane I’d say the leafs get absolutely bent over.

I love Laine tho I think he can be a 50+ goal guy but Marner has more value and if you don’t agree you’re insane.

I don't think either teams do this the leafs have goal scorers and not as many skilled pass first guys as win has great 2way players in schieffle and wheeler.

So Kotkaniemi is better than Marner and Laine now Mantha? I’m sure he’s going to be good but one 34 point season doesn’t make you better than 2 proven players. Do you see how dumb that sounds?

Think the trade is a Good one. Winnipeg has cap space for Marners demands, Laine may sign a Bridger for the small amount the leafs have of space.
