Team with the best prospect pool for each position?
My picks:

Goalie - Edmonton
Defence - ??
Forward - Ottawa

There's like 4-5 teams that have really nice prospects for defence, really difficult to pick which one

Honestly I don’t think Tampa has the best prospect pool st any position. I think it’s Colorado for D but that’s about all I’m willing to commit to.

Stuart Skinner looking really good, his potential is to be a starter. We know what he’s capable of when he gets hot. (.932 save % in the WHL playoffs)
Dylan Wells had very lowkey good OHL career. Looking to be the AHL backup this year. Only 21.
Shane Starrett surprised everyone in Bakersfield with his talent. Took away the starting job from everyone.
Hayden Hawkey one of the best goalies in the NCAA right now. Not sure, but I’m pretty sure he’s a top 3 goalie statistically.
Olivier Rodrigue was the best goalie prospect in the NHL draft a year ago.
Ilya Konovalov KHL’s rookie of the year. Already a KHL star while only being 20 years old.

For Ottawa:
These forwards don’t even need an explanation
Drake Batherson, Colin White, Logan Brown, Tkachuk, Abramov, Josh Norris, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Shane Pinto, Filip Chpalik, Johnathan Davidsson.

Is it really difficult tho like really?

Best defence prospect group hands down with absolutely zero debut is Colorado Connor Timmons ( not as we’ll know was injured this year but should crack the lineup this season potential top 2 dman worst case he’s a solid 2 way top 4 guy. AND Byram/ Makar we all know those 2 the both have all star potential. Then Detroit has the 2nd to best D group imo.

Forwards got to be the Rangers Kappo Kakko And Kravstov up front are two top 5 prospects + they got Howdwn, Chytil and Lias Andersson

Goaltending easily Flyers if Carter Hart is still considered a prospect he’s a star in the making he’s the next Carey Price.

ottawa has chabot, wolanin, brannstrom, jbd, tychonick, and the Finn they took in the 1st round this year on defence which in my opinion is a fairly solid crop. i would even consider their goalie position somewhat stocked with Gustavsson, daccord, hogberg and sogaard in the pipeline.

Yeah, forgot Formenton because I thought I already mentioned him. But yeah, Formenton is a top one.

I don’t know if you’re related to Carter Hart, but you have to relax with him lol.
Ottawa’s is better, sure Kravstov and Kakko lead, but they don’t have that much depth as the Senators. 2 players won’t lead you to the playoffs, just ask the Oilers.

Like I said Chytil is looking like a top 6 forward, Lias Andersson looking like a very good middle 6 Center and Howden who is pretty hyped. Who does Ottawa have Tuch is good

Kappo Kakko> Batherson, Brown, Norris And Chaplik combined. Colin White And Brady Tkachuk are not prospects anymore the played a full season in the NHL.

Norris >>>>> Logan Brown

Then they got Kappo Kakko.

Clueless, islanders got one goalie from russia. konovalov is younger and putting up the same Numbers + they got got starrett and Skinner or i would say every oilers goalie prospect is doing great


And on defence oilers prospect should at least be top three . bouchard Broberg Jones samorukov everyone of them should be ready to make the team 20-21.

Oilers have some goalie depth and couple of them have looked decent. They have drafted 7 goalies in the last 6 drafts so they should have some depth. They are probably not going to be able to keep them all for much longer and I'm not sure if Hayden Hawkey will be resigned. Also rodrigue is looking more like a Zachary fucale then a future starting goalie.
