I don't care what the Cap Space situation is right now for the Leafs but if it's true Vegas is trying to unload both Miller and Gusev for there own Cap reasons you pull the trigger and get them.
Zaitsev situation will be resolved before the season starts as well as Marner but if you are Dubas jump on this opportunity while you still have it.

Leafs wishful thinking.
With Gusev there is no "unloading" to do anyways, he's a FA, so VGK could just not sign him or trade his rights, that have actual value. Miller is a good D and on a good contract. Not a cap dump. Leafs pay if they want those two pieces. Pay way more than what you're proposing.
