This is a classic Salary Cap Trade, Colorado has lots of Cap Space and Winnipeg is in trouble.

Thoughts?

No thanks from Winnipeg. You really need to do at least a minimum of research and at least gain a basic understanding of the Jets' salary cap situation.

What a silly pro Av's trade.

Huh Marcus? So Winnipeg has 24 mil in cap space. 10 mil going to Laine, leaves 14 mil to add 2 defenseman and 5 forwards. Connor is going to get paid so that's way less. And whatever rfas they have left. They in a Blackhawks position and haven't won any cups yet.

You're thinking of Toronto. The only team in the history of the salary cap to be in cap hell without ever winning a playoff round.

The Leafs are worse off than the Jets as if they sign Marner to a hometown discount of $11.5 mil per they will have over $40 mil tied up in 4 forwards, and Shoots says the Jets are in cap hell?

That might get laine alone that's not even close to enough pieces to get those players from the jets. Would need to change andrigetto to maker.

Shoots is definitely not a leafs fan if that’s what you jets guys are implying he’s less knowledgeable then you guys and more biased. He should probably get an award for that honestly.
