Good idea IMO. Jets need to shed a D, Devils need D and Jets get a younger second line centre. I personally don't think the value is that far off.

Myers and the 13th are okay pieces but would probably need another pick or a prospect, not named Dano, to move up. Mcjesus is right. He's not a valued piece at all. Until he makes the team full time and puts up some numbers, he's just taking up a contract spot.

Like the idea of getting Patrick but it would cost Laine. Don't think jets can hangon to Laine once he hits free agency anyway so I'm in.
