CGY- Sam Bennet and Dougie Hamilton

Tor: Nazim Kadri,Jake Gardiner and 1st

Who adds? Kadri would instantly provide secondary scoring to the flames and Solidify the top 6 while jake Gardiner provides a good replacement for Hamilton also they get a good prospect. Sam Bennet is a dynamic player who imo needs a change of scenery. Yes he's 20 but imo he's does not fit the western style of play or the flames System. IMO a JVR-Bennet-Marner line would be scary. Also the leafs get a dman to play with Rielly who is a slight upgrade over Gardiner.

Are you actually stupid? Hamilton is a 50 point defenseman at 23 and Bennett has a lot of potential. He is struggling but is only 20. Kadri is similar to Backlund so we don't really need him. Makes no sense what so ever for Calgary. You want Hamilton you start with Marner. Also I said it before but Bennett will not be moved. No one will pay a lot for him and Calgary won't trade him for nothing.

Value wise I'd say it's clost not sure if Cal does this tho. Bennet is younger then Kadri and has the potential to be better while Gardiner is no where near on the same planet as Hamilton. No from Cal the first does not compensate for the lack of value going to Cal.

actually i think no from calgary. people seem to overrate kadri and gardiner and their 1st does not make up for it. i'd say

Bennett > Gardiner, 1st
Hamilton > Kadri

maybe add Marner, 1st if u want a 50point 6'6 23yr old defender, and a physical, fast 20 yr old center with upside and potential.

Xcing you want Marner start with Gudreau. Take out Hamilton then and make it kadri for Bennet. Kadri is much better then Backlund.

Apparently VB is not the only person without a clue. Kadri scored 30 goals got 60 points yet is "the same as backlund". Give me a break. He played all his minutes against the other teams top lines. And Gardner is not far off from Hamilton. I agree Hamilton holds more value, but that is tied mostly to age differential and ceiling level. But the difference isn't as much as most stars seem to think.

By saying similar, it is being implied they are the same player. They are not even close. Backlund is a good player. Kadri is a very good player. kadri is better defensively, better scorer and all round better player. And it's not close.

Backlund is allot better defensively, that's why many of the analysts felt he should have been one of the selke finalists, kadri is better offensively. Backlund is overall a much better player.

So did Backlund 'itookdonscherry'. Read up a little. Backs has had some of the worst zone starts in the NHL against top lines.
