Anaheim trades: D Cam Fowler

Winnipeg trades: LW/ C Adam Lowry and 2017 conditional 3rd round pick

Then

Winnipeg trades: D Jacob Trouba

Detroit trades: RW/ LW Tomas Tatar and 2018 3rd round pick.

Mcjesus, I think the Ducks are going to get desperate with the deadline to sign Lindholm looming. The conditional pick is performance based and I thought out of all of our LW they'd be most interested in Lowry or Ehlers who is not for sale. The second trade same thing desperation lowers return, the Jets still get a good serviceable forward who can play both wings.

Lowry is not what they are looking for. Ducks want a skilled left winger, not a bottom 6 forward. They have plenty of those.

Jets want an equal level LH D-man for Trouba. Detroit doesn't have that. They do have LHD but not on Trouba's level.

As a Wings fan, I would take the trade you proposed instantly but Jets won't.

Lowry isn't a top 6 winger, Ducks want a Top 6 winger. Detroit does have that, so they could be a player for Fowler. Winnipeg has some wingers as well but not really any too inclined to give up.

A three way trade between these teams is certainly plausible but Winnipeg may not feel Fowler is on Trouba level. Other issue is Detroit and Anaheim are in cap trouble.

Here is my proposed 3 way trade for these teams:

Anaheim gets: Tatar/ Nyquist (Anaheim chooses), Jurco, maybe small plus?

Detroit gets: Trouba

Winnipeg: Fowler, Smith, Conditonal Det 2nd (1st If Wings make playoffs)

Winnipeg gains depth at LHD position which is a need. They give up most valuable asset but is an RFA so won't guarantee as much.
Detroit gets a young Michigan native Dman with RH shot to pair with Dekeyser and by trading Tatar/ Nyquist and Smith, they might have enough money for Trouba. Anaheim gets their top six winger and depth to their offense. They have enough defensive depth. By moving Fowler, thay may get space for Lindholm? Not sure. This is jsut my base case.
