One of the better Yak trades. I like the idea of Yak being traded for another young player who could benefit from a change of scenery.

No way from caps. No need for Yak. They've got plenty of scorers already. Caps have a nice balance of scorers, playmakers, two way guys and power forwards like Wilson. Don't expect any major changes from Caps after being the best team all season long. Value wise this should be what the oilers are looking for. Oilers should add the pick too. Yak doesn't have too much value.

I wish! Wilson is just the kind of player Edm needs. Highly underrated 1st round pick by Washington. Caps won't trade Wilson tho, not in a basic swap for Yak. Possibly as part of a bigger trade, but this trade wouldn't work for Washington.
