I am a habs fan but I'm going to throw a couple trades out there to see what everyone thinks.

Mon:eller, conditional 2017 3rd

Min:2016 1st rd pick, 2016 conditional 3rd rd pick

Minnesota is a team where if they had another big piece up front they can do some serious damage, eller is a big center/ left wing that is still young and has upside on the offence.

If Minnesota don't make it to the second round of the playoff the 3rd rd pick turns to a 4th rounder.


Mon: weise, emilen

Sjs: 2016 2nd round pick, Julius Bergman.

SanJose gets a big right winger and a good shutdown defenceman and Montreal gets a decent prospect in Bergman a nice pick and cap relief.

no team gives up a first rounder for eller, and i'm in the group that uses the paul gaustad got a first rounder as an argument that any crap 3rd liner could get a first. not happening.

Eller is not worth a first round pick a 3rd and a prospect is all he's worth.
