saw a rumour that the asking price for Yandle was a young prospect and/or a young roster player. Thought I might give this a try

Ottawa trades: Tobias Lindberg, Shane Prince, Colin Greening, 2nd round pick in 2016 Draft

Arizona Trades: Keith Yandle

sn

1.) I think Arizona wants quality not quantity.

This trade is basically getting them a 3rd line for their AHL team.

No way they trade yandle for that

2.) #playersforolympians

3.) They want a young roster player, a prospect, and a 1st rounder

cowen, Prince, 2015 1st rd pick

Not sure ottawa is willing to pay that so they probably won't go after yandle but
what you offered is garbage

4.) You get 3 3rd and 4th liners for a useful #1/2 center.

Ottawa trades: Andreas Englund

Buffalo trades: 2nd 2015

This is great, Ottawa gets back technicly a late first round (early 2nd but whatever). So a better pick than they picked englund, and they don't need him haha. Buffalo really does need a reliable defensive d. However I think buffalo might not find an englund type of player this year at that point of the draft so I would pay just a liiiiittle more, like a 3rd for a 3rd perhaps, moving in the draft.

2.) @minkl22, that is a funny post, Buffalo does not have any defense minded defensemen? http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2015/ currently projects 2-GK, 17-forwards and 12-D-men being drafted in the second round (the round this pick is being traded). Projecting the 1st 5 rounds 55 will be d-men, 84-forwards and 12-GK. That seems to indicated the draft is loaded with defense-men.

3.) @minkl22 Considering how CSS combined (http://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-draft-war-room-nhl-central-scouting-final-rankings-combined/) had him being drafted 189, I can see why you are so excited about trading him.

Ottawa trades: Patrick Wiercioch, Andreas Englund, Danny New, Troy Rutkowski

Arizona trades: Keith Yandle, Philip Samuelsson

sn

1.) So. an average defenseman and table scraps for one of the best offensive defenseman in the NHL? No from Arizona.

2.) 16 Dec 2014 20:17:29
@Captain Nurjob, if you think Yandle is the best offensive defensmen in the game, you are indeed a Nutjob.

3.) @Titties - Can you read? I didn't say THE best, I said ONE of the best.

4.) Put.him on the Hawks and he is third paring. He us get tons of points where he is. No one else can

5.) One of the best ^^^ didn't say he was the best

6.) Not even close to be honest.

Quantity doesn't equal quality, especially when there is barely any quality going to Buffalo or Carolina. Those 2 picks aren't being traded, unless Buffalo and Carolina get a star and that's still a probably a no. Let's say those picks end up being 1-2, you'd probably have to trade Karlsson at least to get buffalo's pick then something outrageous like Turris and Ryan+ to get Carolina's. Trading for these picks would just put any team worse than better.

2.) If Buffalo does not win the lottery this year, I would love to see them trade their 1st round picks from 2017 through 2023 for that 1st over all. @Sensfan27 you are absolutely correct not nearly enough for either pick.

3.) We're going McDavid AND Eichel hunting! Shhh!

4.) I see we have another trade for the 1st overall. Let is make up a story and Dale Tallon’s Hockey’s godfather offered him the picks 17 to 21 from the 2007 to 2010 drafts.” Let us assume his picks are the same as found on Hockeydb.com. 2007: Alexei Cherepanov, Ian Cole, Logan MacMillan, Angelo Esposito, Riley Nash, 2008: Joey Hishon, Austin Watson, Nick Bjugstad, Beau Bennett, Riley Sheahan; 2009: David Rundblad, Louis Leblanc, Chris Kreider, Jacob Josefson, John Moore; 2010: Jake Gardiner, Chet Pickard, Luca Sbisa, Michael Del Zotto, Anton Gustafsson
Head in hand Talon says “AARG, I gave away Patrick Kane for 20 1st round draft picks and all I have to show for it is Ian Cole, Jake Gardiner, Luca Sbisa and Micheal Del Zotto.” He shakes his fist in the air and says, “Hockey Godfather your tricked me.”

5.) And the Binghamton Senators score 54 goals this season in total
