like you say I don't think he wants to be in COL, which contributes to him overvaluing himself. just my assumption though.

i don't think the difference between orielly and hall is that huge. all is the better player, but I can't see the difference being a 1st and 2nd pick

Oilers aren't trading hall. If they ever do, it would be for stud d-man.
3.) Way too much from Avs. Hall is great, but the difference between Hall and O'Reilly isn't a 1st AND 2nd round pick!

Define "better". Offensively, Hall hands down the better player. However all round I have to give it to O'Reilly. He is a phenomenal two-way player who is more versatile then Hall. If I was building a team and I had to start with picking one of these two players, I'd pick O'Reilly. That being said I would imagine that if these two we're being traded for each other it would be straight up.
