St.Louis:Yakupov. And a draft pick if needed

And if LA doesn't agree to a contract with Dwight King oilers should try and sign him.
Kyle brodziak is a good penalty killer, and a decent size body who isn't afraid to use it. And King is a big body who can put up enough points for a third liner, and now has playoff experience

You can't be an Oilers fan. Oils lose both trades.
4.) I am an oiles fan. I just don't like yakupov, he's a one way player. He was a -33 last season, and he cost the teams more goals then he can score. Oilers are looking for a bigger stronger team to compete in the west and having yakapooh doesn't help them. Berglund is a big body and a decent second line center, which is what they need. And adding dwight king is a big body who has 2 stanley cups under his belt already. And scored more goals last year then yakapooh. And brodziak is a tough guy and a good third liner that can also help kill penalty's.

May all be true, but you still lose the trades IMO.
Besides that the Blues absolutely don't need a winger, EDM could most likely get more for Yakupov.
Same for Klefbom, his value sure is higher than Brodziaks, because Brodziak is a limited potential role player and Klefbom is a very good D prospect and you still add a pick there to get Brodziak? not a good idea IMO

OIlers trade Lander and a draft pick to St. Louis for patrik Berglund. This way Berglund can play with perron since they have experience with each other in St. Louis.

1.) I stated this exact trade to a friend the other day. Giving up a center prospect isn't ideal, but it's better than giving up Petry like some analysts think might be required. I had it pegged at a 2016 2nd round pick going the other way. Oilers need to restock the prospect pool after not having a 2014 2nd and 3rd round pick so hopefully STL would be alright with that. Alternatively, take out the pick and add Pitlick to bolster the Blues' bottom-6.
2.) How about Jackman and Berglund for Petry and Gordon. Oilers upgrade center while Blues upgrade defense. M The money is not far from equal.
Jackman and Gordon are both serviceable for at least a few years while Berglund and Petry will help their new teams for many years to come. Blues are overloaded at center while Oilers have multiple defensive prospects to replace Jackman over the next few years.
Looks win/win to me.

I would love that trade, gives oilers a solid second liner with experience but I can't see it happening.

I think oilers should stop messing around and just sign Daniel Winnik to at least a one year deal. what's the worst that can happen? They get a solid 3rd line center and a good 2ND line penalty killer, that way it gives leon draisaitl a year to develop in the AHL, and then come next year if leon draisaitl is ready u let Daniel Winnik go if they want or, keep him if Draisaitl isn't ready. Having Arco and Lander as your 2nd and 3rd line center is a nightmare for them. They also need to get another 2nd line center. Trade Lander and 3 rdp for Berglund, adds size to there line up and he's at the right age the oilers are looking for, plus he's played with perron before.

Like I said before oilers should trade Lander and a 2015 draft pick for patrik Berglund. Use Berglund as a second line center. Maybe now they also should consider signing Daniel Winnik to a 1 year deal and use him as a third line center and to kill penalty's.
