Vegas: Erik Haula and Alex Tuch
Minnesota: Gets to protect Dumba, Scandella, Staal and Olofsson
Absolute steal for Minnesota. Yes Haula's a good player and Tuch will be too, but worth it for the Wild.
Now, does Minny trade a defenseman at the entry draft? Galchenyuk? Let the rumors begin...

Actually it's rumoured that Haula just signed for Vegas and also Minnesota trades Alex Tuch and a 2nd round for them to keep their players btw Hanzal was a horrible trade for them shouldn't of done it.

Solves the Wild's expansion problem by not losing a good D for nothing. Gets a player that is expansion exempt with good value
Also, if Minnesota does decide to trade Niederreiter, what do you think he could fetch?

Not bad imo. Does Arizona really need more defence tho? OEL (duh), Goligoski, Murphy, DeAngelo, Chychrun and Luke Schenn (? ), still have Wood, Capibianco and Dineen in the system. Arizona has actually put together a solid young crop of blueliners imo (outside Goligoski but good vet presence) what about Chucky for Dumba for all my Hab buddies?

I think Minnesota says no because this trade doesn't solve their expansion issues since JVR requires protection. So if JVR takes over Pominville's spot on the list going 7-3-1. Then Minnesota will lose one of Brodin/ Scandella. Assuming they protect Suter, Spurgeon and one of those 2. Then if they go 8-1 to protect all D-men then they will lose a quality forward and can't protect all their key forwards.
8-1 with this would be all 4 Dmen I mentioned and JVR, Parise, Koivu, Niderietter. Thus they lose one of Granlund, Staal, Zucker, Coyle, Haula. I'm not sure if the last two are expansion exempt. Therefore, Minnesota would be looking for exempt assets.

Mike give him a break the kids not even close to his physical peak and this was his 1st playoffs. This is like Trading Guadreau or Kucherov for Dumba. Not even close.

When Marner socres 40 goals/ 85 points playing against teams top D when Matthews is out the whole season other skill players miss time and he himself misses 10 games let's put him in the same conversation as Kucherov. Not saying it won't happen but Kucherov is one of the elite players in the game. These Marner Kucherov comparisons are either overvaluing Marner or undervaluing Kucherov at this point of their careers. Marner can get there but he has a ways to go still.
