LA Kings acquire:
F Matt Duchene
CBJ acquire:
F Jeff Carter
D Alec Martinez
Kings could afford to give Duchene a relatively big contract and lose two bad contracts. They get a great winger for the first line and some much needed scoring help.
CBJ gets an experienced Defender in Martinez but not too old, great defensively and knows how to win the cup as well as Carter. In my opinion he ist still great but needs a change to get out of his comfort zone. CBJ still has a bunch of younger players and need a good mixture of experience and young players.

No from Florida, Tippett has tremendous upside and is exactly what they need, a young RW sniper. Also they might be very keen on keeping their first in this draft with very strong d prospects, something that they definately should get.

I think Florida says no. however, depends on how much pressure GM feels to make the playoffs next season. Tippett has great upside, and Florida has a great young talent base, however maybe need a little more of a veteran presence. I still think Florida says no,
Would be a lot to give up for 1 year of Patches.

If your going to get rid of Subban. don't add Gallagher. these 2 players are the only guys on the team with any character. personally hope PK doesn't leave. however. if he did . and it's Edmonton . Nurse better be coming other way. with the 4th. and a high end forward. So . it's a steep price each way. don't see it happening . hope not.

Hall by himself is not worth Subban and Yak is a bust so I guess a third rounder could fetch him. As for the pick, there's not guarantee that a pick, any pick for that matter, will make it in to the big leagues.
Bottom line, you just don't trade a young Norris winner for one top 3, scraps and possibilities. A Subban trade has to make Montreal coming out as a clear winner unless there's something else working behind that would allow Bergevin to ask less for Subban.

I agree, the value isn't there but if Edmonton feels like they need Dumba and Zucker more than a second/ third line center ( in edmonton, he's a first in most NHL team) then it could go through IMO.
