Bs trade David Krecji to Tampa for victor Hedman. Helps TB deal with loss of stamkos and get a #1 center signed under 8M long term. Bruins upgrade the dismal defence.

burnsy613

1.) 11 Apr 2016 16:03:42
I think Krejci and a late first for Hedman might be closer. Have to take age into consideration and that these teams are divisional opponents. I like the trade from a Bruins perspective, not sure how Tampa fills the hole of Hedman though.

2.) 11 Apr 2016 16:17:19
Are you guys both trolling or what? i'm in absolute shock if you guys actually think Tampa would trade Hedman for Krijci and a 1st (and you have to add in "late first" to that, what a joke! ) .
This is unreal.

3.) 11 Apr 2016 16:19:39
Someone found the liquor cabinet.

4.) 11 Apr 2016 16:20:02
WHAT? Lol. That's not even close. I cannot see anything from Boston coming Tampas way that would make Tampa move Hedman. They're not moving Hedman at all. Awful.

5.) 11 Apr 2016 16:34:59
Krecji could never fetch Hedman.

6.) 11 Apr 2016 20:49:42
Boston adds Carlo and SJ and BOS 1sts.

7.) 11 Apr 2016 21:13:13
Pipe dream, as high as i value Krejci top D are near-priceless.

Few things wrong here:
1. Seidenberg has a NTC, has already said he won't waive it
2. Not sure Toronto takes on those guys for Komarov
3. Hoffman is streaky and not good in his own end (a. k. a Claude will bench him like he does to Pasta)
4. Krejci has a NTC
5. Stemps will want more than 1.5/ year and more than 1 year but I could see him resigning.

2.) 08 Apr 2016 20:22:05
Dirty rebound; Denis seidenberg has already stated he'd waive his no trade if the team wanted to move him so nice try with that one. And kom has had 1 good year and leafs need a vet on the blue line and could use a middle six winger.

10 Mar 2016 14:36:54
Krug, Alex khokhlachev, 2016 nyi 2nd

For trouba negotiations rights.

Does this get the conversation started.

burnsy613

1.) 10 Mar 2016 15:27:16
likely, but is Winnipeg really going to trade Trouba? And if they did, I think another team could offer up as good of a package (if not better) . I am sure EDM would throw in 1 or 2 of it's expendable forwards. They may even be desperate enough to get a dman, to move Draisaitl.

2.) 10 Mar 2016 16:43:34
I don't think so because Trouba is better then Hamilton IMO so I'd say add a 1st and maybe a prospect like Morrow.

3.) 10 Mar 2016 16:45:14
negoiton rights? he's not a unrestricted free agent. he's coming of his first contract, he's a restricted free agent, and the jets would get far better offers if the were going to trade him.

4.) 10 Mar 2016 17:51:30
We will not move Drai for trouba. If we were to move Drai, we could get shattenkir.

5.) 10 Mar 2016 20:02:51
I would take that extended kirk for draisaitl.

6.) 11 Mar 2016 04:17:34
Well, at least you can spell his name correctly now.
Unfortunately you're still completely nuts and delusional so it's a moot point.

17 Feb 2016 18:53:49
Bos/ Win (prior to trade deadline)
To Bos: Jacob Trouba
To Win: Loui Eriksson, Torey Krug, Seth Griffith, Austin Czarnik
Win flips Eriksson at deadline for 1st and prospect. So they get a 1st/ prospect/ cheap young RW (Griffith) cheap young centre (Czarnik) and RFA torey krug who will boost 2nd pairing and PP production. Bos gets a chance to negotiate a contract with trouba.

Off season
Bos/ LA
To Bos: Jake Muzzin
To LA: Alex Khokhlachev, Dennis Seidenberg (1Mretained), 2016 2nd round pick
LA gets young affordable 3rd line center to replace lecavalier and who's producing at a PPG pace in AHL, a reliable 2nd pairing PK veteran dman for 3M who's deal expires in time for drew doughteys new contract and they get a good 2nd round pick. Bos gets gritty 2nd pairing guy to play with one of the younger inexperienced bruins defence.

March-bergy-Connolly
Belesky-Krecji-Pasta
Vatrano-Spooner-Hayes
Rinaldo-Feraro-Randell

or B's can sign UFA players for 4th line

Chara-Trouba
Muzzin-C Miller
Morrow-Mcquaid

thoughts?

burnsy613

1.) 17 Feb 2016 20:01:49
La is looking for d men no way they trade muzzin.

2.) 17 Feb 2016 21:42:41
😂😂😂 Muzzin isn't getting traded, especially for that sorry package.

3.) 17 Feb 2016 23:32:59
Both trades are wishful thinking.

4.) 18 Feb 2016 02:28:47
Trouba deal isn't bad but I don't think Jets would take it still and the Muzzin deal is pretty bad, he's really turned into that perfect compliment to Doughty and has turned into a real solid Defencemen. I'd say he's pretty much untouchable with the Kings ha I their sighs set on Lord Stanley.

5.) 19 Feb 2016 08:52:52
Trouba deal is horrible for the Bruins. Loui is practically a 1st, Krug is a top 4 dman and basically the only capable defenceman we have quarterbacking the PP while Griffith and Czarnik are having really good years in the ahl.

02 Feb 2016 14:40:27
Bos/ TB
To TB: Krecji/ Loui Eriksson (50% retained) and 2016 2nd
To Bos: Stamkos/ Drouin
Tampa can flip Eriksson for a 1st and prospect (1st/ vesey from NSH) to get the value for drouin or keep Eriksson for a cup run. They also get a #1 center who's signed for 7.25 going forward thus leaving them room to sign the other players they need to address.

Bos/ StL
To STL: Stamkos/ K miller/ 2017 1st
To Bos: Shattenkirk/ Statsny
Stl gets their #1 center for the playoffs and can resign him with Statsny 7M going back the other way. Bos gets their coveted RH dman and 2nd line center.

Marchand-Bergeron-Connolly
Drouin-Statsny-Hayes
Belesky-Spooner-Pasta
Rinaldo-Ferraro-Randall

Chara-Shattenkirk
Krug-Mcquaid
Seidenberg- C miller.

burnsy613

1.) 02 Feb 2016 15:05:57
Pretty unrealistic, I doubt Stamkos gets traded let alone twice in the same season.

2.) 02 Feb 2016 15:39:53
Trading for Vessy would be risky he is a free agent in the summer and dad and brother are in the leafs organization.

3.) 02 Feb 2016 16:17:50
Can sign him cause of the 7 million this guy wants 10 plus million a year. The reason the blues are gunna trade shatenkirk is salary reasons in a few years they will have to deal with rattie and fabri and they both look like good players stl can't afford Stamkos.

4.) 02 Feb 2016 16:56:53
Vessel is going to t. o free agent writing is on the wall. Stamkos won't waive his no trade clause. He has as good a chance as any winning g a cup in t. b this year. And will sign with leafs at 12 million a year. Done deal.

5.) 02 Feb 2016 17:02:27
Hope the leafs don't go 12 a year that be nuts.

6.) 02 Feb 2016 17:49:15
12 million is a lot but leafs can afford it and the chance to get a stamkos either in a trade or free agency won't come around for a long time. They can afford 12 mill but they can't afford to pass up on this opportunity.

7.) 02 Feb 2016 18:13:18
Everyone's on the home town team bandwagon these days so that means vesey is signing in Boston. His brother was 6th rnd pick and not likely to ever make the roster fill time and his dad's a scout probably telling him to to avoid the dumpster fire in TO for another couple years.

8.) 02 Feb 2016 19:48:37
Burnsy

You aren't very knowledgable about hockey. Toronto isn't and won't be a dumpster fire for long (actually playing above expectations, just look at the line-up) they have Marner, Nylander, Kapanen, Rielly, Brown, Leipsic, Bracco, Timashov, JVR, and Dermott to build around. Then there's the Bruins who took Senshyn with the 15th pick and he was going to go in the 2nd round and was playing on the 4th line that year lol. The Bruins are a dumpster fire in the making, traded away Seguin and Hamilton for no where close to good value and have an average prospect pool with no depth with Forwards or defenders.

9.) 02 Feb 2016 20:28:08
Burney you have to remind as to where I mentioned stamkos hoing to t. o because he's from the area. He will go there because he grew up a fan and they are one of the few teams that can afford him.

10.) 02 Feb 2016 21:41:43
The reason the Bruins took senyshyn is because he played so well WHILE playing on the 4th line. I'm not saying it was a good pick at the time. i know i was scratching my head a little but now Senyshyn is one of the top goal scorers in the ohl i believe with 30 goals in 46 games. He already has 4 more goals this year than last with 20 fewer games. Point is JF12 if you were maybe a little more "knowledgable" when it comes to hockey you would know that. Anyway these trades are bad and Boston and Toronto both have the potential to compete in the coming years depending on the decisions the respected managements make.

11.) 02 Feb 2016 23:40:54
Hahaha JF12 you judge like you've been working in the NHL for years. The leafs Marlies team won't be all on the roster for a another year probably two. And when stamkos doesn't end up in TO hope you all admit that you were presumptuous and wrong lol. Ppl on this site get so angry over the little things lol. Leafs are a dumpster fire now and vesey will sign this summer so again why not wait and come in years when they might be good. You clearly know nothing about timing and a player picking his spots.

As for the leafs cap I dunno if they could spot 12m going forward with the deal Reilly's going to want and the all star team that'll all be coming off elc deals.

12.) 02 Feb 2016 23:42:27
And JF12 they actually have been rated to be in the top 10 for prospects. They have a deep defensive pool and some decent forwards. My knowledge is just fine. Maybe it's time for you to brush up your knowledge.

13.) 03 Feb 2016 01:26:47
Some of the guys JF named won't be part of the core. And maybe Vessey wants to go home but to say he won't go to Toronto until they get good is ridiculous. Also can't see Boston being in the top 10 for prospects but I don't know to much about them.

14.) 03 Feb 2016 02:36:04
Rated by who ESPN? Debrusk was projected late 1st Round, and Shenshyn 2nd Round. I'm not really seeing these high end prospects the Leafs have.

15.) 03 Feb 2016 03:44:34
@burnsy

Trading away Seguin, Hamilton, Lucic to get back Eriksson (UFA, will be gone), Zboril, Debrusk and we can't forget Senshyn lmao, that isn't a dumpster fire? As a Leafs fan its going to be very sweet revenge watching the B's fall apart to a bottom 5 team over the next few years. Few too many hits to the head for Neely i guess? Lol, your team has no future, and you know it. Better change teams while you still can.

16.) 03 Feb 2016 04:00:32
Another reason I think stamkos goes to t. o is the amount of money they can make him from endorsements.

17.) 03 Feb 2016 07:14:48
Bruins will be fine as long as Sweeney doesn't get creative again. Stay classy Toronto fans.

18.) 03 Feb 2016 14:55:40
Say what you guys want but Senyshyn could be a very good player. Heard Leafs were interested in him if he was around for 24 last season before the trade.

19.) 03 Feb 2016 19:51:54
Blues would say no.

Bos/nyi

To Bos: Brock Nelson, 3rd rnd Pk
To nyi: Loui Eriksson, Kevan miller, max talbot

Bos gets 2nd/3rd liner to resign. Isles get 2nd line winger, 4th line grinder and tough guy dman Kevan miller.

burnsy613

1.) 16 Sep 2015 15:11:36
I'd say Nelson is worth more than Eriksson alone.

25 Aug 2015 19:18:14
what would the value be of Chara and Eriksson to a team Like Anaheim or Nashville at the trade deadline?.

ANH and NAS both have some cap room and essentially a set roster so if BOS held onto say 2M of Eriksson what could Bos get back for a team looking to make a deep playoff run?

1st rnd pick
prospect
a handful of later picks.
a guy like Jakub Silfverberg?

thoughts?/

burnsy613

1.) 26 Aug 2015 00:04:35
Definitely not Silfverberg

2.) 26 Aug 2015 04:26:46
there's really no point in speculating as there are far too many variables.

3.) 26 Aug 2015 04:27:12
although I can almost guarantee it won't be silfverberg for either of those 2.

I think everyone is going to be surprised by the package that lands Drouin. He's not going to get a 1st plus plus. Hell net some good picks or some prospects and a serviceable roster player at the draft and likely in the western conference.

Why would stamkos leave a contender to play for the leafs? He could sign a 3-5 year deal in Tampa now while they're competitive and then go to leafs for his long term retirement contract. Just don't see him wanting to leave a good thing to go to the focus of the media fishbowl in TO just yet.

I dunno that the hamonic trouba deal pans out. Winnipeg has the rh d locked in on the top two spots. And isle wanted cost controlled player back. Troubas camp asking for a lot more than hamonic is making. Just not a good fit otherwise it would probably be done.
