Washington and Detroit
Mike Green for Teemu Pulkkinen (2010 4th) & 2015 1st. Who needs to add?

Bufsbr

1.) To much for a pending UFA

2.) ^Sekera got a similar return and Green>Sekera

However, Caps are in a playoff position and won't trade Green

3.) @Charles Xavier, that is less return than Carolina received for Sekara (McKeown 2nd 2014 & Pulkkinen 4th 2010), LAK is lower in the standing so the pick is better than DET, Green is only year older and is a MUCH better offensive weapon. I thought most people would think it is not enough for Green.

4.) I guess so but Greens contract is also bigger and with quite a defenceman already traded how many suiters would there actually be for Green? And why trade him in the middle of a playoff puss anyways?

5.) Holland of all people is the last person to trade his 1st in this years stacked draft pool, let alone the AHL leading scorer (who is also right handed - something Detroit is desperate for).

Ridiculous.

6.) OK, one no because it is too much for Green & one no because WAS is in the playoffs. Thanks for the feedback.

Buffalo and Boston
Chris Stewart & NYI 2015 2nd for Loui Erikson

Bufsbr

1.) 28 Feb 2015 14:28:20
Eriksson is worth a lot more than that. He may not be putting in big numbers goal-wise, but he's quietly having a good year. Boston politely refuses.

2.) Who needs to add?

3.) Maybe more Eriksson + 2nd for stewart and cody h.

If Murray could do these trades after picking up Kane & Bogosian, he would be the leading candidate for GM of the year.
Buffalo trades:
Stewart to anyone for a second
Mezsaros to anyone for a third
Neuvirth to anyone for a third
Mitchell to anyone for a fifth
Benoit to anyone for a seventh
Strachen to anyone for a seventh
Kaleta to anyone for future considerations

Bufsbr

1.) The first time I posted this list the voting was overwhelming believable. What is different?

2.) Stewart for a 2nd is a stretch IMO. I think a team would have to really like him to pay that price and there are cheaper options out there.

Mezsaros you may get a 4th from a really desperate team.

The market for rental goalies is pretty soft IMO. There aren't nearly as many contending teams looking and if they are, they are likely asking about Neimi first.

3.) Where is the cap they are taking back? You're off loading the whole team and no returns? There is a cap floor you're not able to go under.

4.) Ill give u clarkson 4 mitchell and the leafs will add a 4th, anything to gte clarkson away from torotno

5.) @JUICE61 I am sure that the team making the trade could figure out how to shed cap if needed. I did not include any because they were just demonstration trades not with a particular team.

Grigorenko, Ristolainen & 2016 1st form Kessel
Moulson-McDavid-Kessel
Kane-Reinhart-Ennis
Foligno-Girgenson-Gionta
Deslauriers-Hogson-Flynn
Gorges-Bogo
Zaderov-UFA
Pysyk-UFA
McCabeo-Weber

Nieni

1.) That seems to be the right amount to get Kessel. That top line could score almost as many goals as the entire Buffalo team will score this year and the second line could potentially get another 90. I do not think Hodgson will perform well on the 4th line, maybe he could be traded, then Murray could trade for a top PK center. What would be needed to pry Couturier from PHI or Brian Boyle from NYR?

2.) A lot and boyles on TB

3.) I don't see buff trading ristolainen besides buffalo dose not need kessel

4.) Yes he is. Another Brain Fart.

5.) @granville, how about this:
Grigorenko, Ristolainen & Ennis for Kessel
Sign Justin Williams, Jarret Stoll, Niemi and two UFA D-men

Moulson-McDavid-Kessel
Kane-Reinhart-Williams
Foligno-Girgenson-Gionta
Deslauriers-Stoll-Flynn

Pretty solid 4 lines, could easily make the playoffs and make a deep run in a couple of years.

6.) @sbr2017 that trade is fair but I think it would better option to keep ristolainen maybe swap in McCabe and a mid pick

7.) What makes you all say all those ufas wanna go to buffalo? kessel has a no trade list, would never wanna go to buffalo. and there's no guarentee sabres win the lottery

8.) @tspillz players usually follow the money. Buffalo has lots of cap space.

1.) Intentional tanking! Call the cops

2.) Well Murray did say he would not let a UFA walk without receiving something in return. If he could make the top three trades he would have 7 picks in the top three rounds in a very good draft, that would allow him to replace all of the prospects he traded away.
@Charles Xavier, the tanking started when the team hired the dumbest coach in the league, who then fired the best GK coach in the league and who then hired an inexperienced Trottier.

3.) 17 Feb 2015 04:30:20
Nylander is a centre.

Posted yesterday, bos trades Eriksson + 2nd to buf for stewart and cody h. by Jean-seb
What do you think? Stewart is the power forward Bos wants, Hodgson could fill in for Kreji. Hodgson needs to get away from "the village motivator".

Coburn gets about the same return as Yandle? I thought SY was a good judge of talent!

TO NYI : Kessel
TO TOR: Reinhart, Dal Cole & 2016 1st, should be enough, but do it before the dead line. I too would love to see Tavares setting up Kessel. Because Kessel is really not old with a decent contract, MAYBE the NYI add after the season, depending on how far NYI go in the playoffs.
