A good D prospect and 2 picks (and Fervence but who cares about him) for an old guy? Don't get me wrong, Iginla is still a decent player but at this point he is basically just a veteran presence. That is a huge overpayment for a veteran presence.

As an Oilers fan I love the idea of getting Igy for many reasons, and that might not be an overpayment as you would be getting a very very valauble presence in the locket room, versitility of playing anywhere in the line up. Also, scored 29 goals and 59 points last season, 30 goals and 61 points the season before. so you re not trading for jsut his presence.

seasbrook would be great on the oilers, but I don't think it is a good idea. Hawks will ask for so much and he is a free agent next year. He might not sign with oilers. If he does, will probably want $6m for 6 years = $36m. He will be 37 by the end of the contract.

I think both Nashville and Chicago say no. The Nashville trade is a lot closer then the chicago trade is though. That is a horrible trade for chicago. If they want seabrook it involves one of their top young players eberle, rnh, hall, draisaitl, yakupov.

No from WSH and CLB, you have to add a lot more to get Johansson who hopefully for WSH will be reaching 50-60 points next season is younger and on a better contract. Dubinsky is captain material and probably one of the few that are untuchable in CLB
