Edmonton: Jordan Eberle, 3rd
Pittsburgh: Derrick Pouliot, Brandon Sutter, 2nd
1.) Pittsburgh would love to see Eberle on a line with Geno or even Sid, but Rutherford would never let go of Pouliot . Especially Johnson will not let go of his former Portland Winterhawks defender. Also, with the Penguins wanting to make a deep run in the playoffs this year, they cannot let go of one of their top players Brandon Sutter. I could see them maybe throwing a 1st rounder in 2016 and scott harrington for eberle. Or brian dumoulin and a 2016 fourth rounder or third rounder for perron.

Think that's a pretty decent trade. Maybe take out the picks or change them.
1st trade doesn't work for either team (Fasth is pending UFA and the Leafs are giving up a goalie that shows he's a playoff performer (collapse was not his fault against Boston) and a guy who can instantly be Edmonton's best DMan along with a quality winger when healthy and Edmonton gives up their second best winger. And the 2nd trade is horrible for the Coyotes. Gardiner has value but not enough for Yandle and Clarkson scoring one goal last night doesn't change the fact he might have the worst contract in the league - at least one of the worst.
Leafs get the best of it, Arizona gets the worst of it and Edmonton doesn't really improve. Love it as a Leafs fan. But Yandle is the best player in this obviously, at least at this point. Yakupov shouldn't be traded until his value goes back to at least close to where it should be and Arizona isn't going to move Yandle to get him and Gardiner is definitely not going to help Edmonton.
