Tavares signs by noon with these two added. Can handle the cap space.

I don't see this trade happening, you're missing some of the most important pieces Ottawa has to take back for a karlsson deal. They have no first round draft pic and karlsson is one of the only prices that will fix that.

And Karlsson is 1 year! And you think heâ€™s going to sign to stay in NYI? They are fighting tooth and nail just to keep their own star there because what a disaster the team and arena situation. Why would any other player with a choice sign there?!

No way this package gets both duchene and Karlsson unless tavares involved too.

Duchene alone got Colorado Bowers who was a 1st himself and a 1st and hammond and every piece from turris Nashville deal. and turris at the time was duchenes equal in every way.

Karlsson can be expected to pull in a similar haul and no way we give duchene away for less than equal pr greater value .

Rambo, you did say Hoffman would bring back a top 10 pick and a top prospect. Thatâ€™s what you said and they got an overpaid 3rd liner, b-c prospect and a 6th rounder. So youâ€™re not one to talk about credibility in valuing players. Also, we will find out fairly soon what Karlssons value is, then Andersonâ€™s value, and I would assume stones value not long after that. And I can guarantee you total haul wonâ€™t be 50% of what you have been saying every senator players worth.

Jim that's one trade I've been further off than the rest of you on and only because Dorian was dumb enough to take a massive hit on hoffman's actual value to move him quick. every other trade that usually happens is a lot closer to my projections than any of yours including the over payment on duchene.

I believe my projection was turris and lajoie for duchene

Yours was ceci white chabot a 1st and then some in other words 2 high end prospects a 1st and a young top 4 defenceman

Actuall trade was basically turris a 1st a b+ prospect and a bad contract back up goalie

And you are right about 1 thing that we will soon find out. no way they take that kind of loss on Hoffman only to let Karlsson go for any less than full value regardless of contract.
