Could theses two trades work? I think right now the sens top 6 forwards are extremely weak what about this?

I strongly doubt we make both these trades? 1 of these would be very suprising but is the value there?

1) ott: ryan , Anderson , guptill , 2nd 15

Win: e Kane , Montoya

2) ott: wiercoch , prince , 2nd 16

How does the first trade improve OTTs top6?
One top6 guy for another top6 guy.
2nd one should work

2.) I understand people want to get Evander Kane. Sometimes people just think he is worth so much. He is good, no doubt. But a team is not giving up loads of players,prospects and picks for one player? That just has no logic. That statement is not for this trade, but to all Evander Kane trades.

3.) Montoya is in Florida

4.) Oil2014- what would you take for Hall? not comparing the 2 statistically, but Wpg values Kane as much as Edm values Hall. one of the best shots in the league and one of the fastest skaters in the league does not get traded for an underpayment or an assortment of Ufa/aging players

I honestly think bobby ryan is heading to the flyers or sticking with the sens

Since melnyk is extremely cheap and maybe one of the poorest gms in the league so I say they deal him.

While shopping Ben bishop a few years ago the sens were negotiating a deal with philly and were asking for couturier in return so I think the sens will ask for couturier again.

Could this work?

Melnyk isn't the poorest GM in the league he is the cheapest. He's a billionaire, which is why him having an internal budget is more infuriating. As for the trade,not bad but make that before the season starts if Ryan isn't re-signed.

2.) I doubt this would work philly gets hosed

3.) Ryan would have to let Philly know he would fo sho re-sign and if I'm Hextall I want a better dman than Gryba coming back.

4.) When I read this the first time I thought it was brayden schenn. so in retrospect philly doesn't get hosed

5.) Melnyk is the owner, not the GM. This trade doesn't work for Ottawa. We have too many NHL Centres. We need a top 6 winger.

I've seen some proposals lately and was wondering if this could be the senators potential lineup.

We have Mac , methot, ryan , condra , and Andy and I doubt all them stay

Ryan has the most value there and also ottawa has promised a trade by the end of THIS offseason what about this?

Greening for versteeg? - promised trade

Bobby ryan and gryba for Brayden and Luke schenn + 3rp 15 - deadline deal

idk about that ryan deal, could make a lot of fans angry.

would essentially be ritchie + silfverberg + noesen for the schenns. (assuming gryba for the 3rd cancel eachother out)

i understand ryan will be a ufa after next year and his value will decrease but idk if OTT would be able to convince themselves its the right thing to do after payig such a high price for him only a year ago.

3.) Would fans be more angry is Ryan walked for nothing?

4.) Sens were also hoping not to be a team with a top 10 pick last year. I seen a deal posted that was very good involving Ryan going to the Pens along with Weiro something. For Martin, Bennett and a 1st. Martin would add defensive help and Bennett is s young LW who has room to grow.

Hey users just bored and ecstatic for hockey to commence .

But quick question in a very talented 2015 draft who will finish bottom five and who will they pick?

1. Carolina : Connor mcdavid

2. Buffalo: jack eichel

3. Calgary : Noah hanifin

4. Ottawa :'Matthew barzal

5. Edmonton : Oliver kylington

What would yours be?

1.) Pretty solid list but there are so many good prospect in this draft that its so hard to predict this years top 5 outside of the top 3 so for me right now it would be
1) McDavid
2) Eichel
3) Hanifin
4) Kylington
5) Marner, Barzal, Zacha, Anderson, White, Sprong, J. Roy, Konecny

2.) As a guy living in Kansas (thats right folks, smack in the middle of farmville U. S. A. ) I envy people living in Canada. We get about 6-8 regular season games on NBC, select playoff games, and not even every finals game (one or two are *specially* broadcast on NBC Sports Network. No, OHL, WHL, QMJHL, or Worlds. I have to drive 5 hours to STL to watch a game or two to Tulsa or Independence just to watch the semi-pro's of the Central Hockey League which is as awful as it sounds. My Dad and I grew up in Chicago, and love hockey. In Kansas, NO ONE watches any hockey. I've met two people in my 20 years here that like to watch. It's terrible. Coming to this site at least allows me to discuss hockey with other people who are passionate about the game.

My issue though? How can so few people be into a sport that has more speed than March Madness basketball, the physicality of NFL football, and more skill than any other sport. Unless you pay over 100 bucks a month for special NHL Network, it's almost impossible to catch a game. You're all lucky if you live somewhere that even the minor league games. Rant over. Focker, out.

3.) That's terrible I couldn't imagine not having anyone to talk hockey with or having to go to those lengths to see a game.

Pretty excited to see what the sens do with b ryan

Seen some pretty good proposals and here are a few of them

I've ranked the trades from my favorite to least favorite but I would be satisfied if any of these happened

1) bobby ryan and Patrick wiercoch for Paul Martin , beau Bennett and 1st rp 15

2) Bobby ryan and conditional pick for Jakob voracek

3) bobby ryan and Eric gryba for Tomas Tatar and 2nd rp 15

4) bobby ryan for Colin Wilson , Austin Watson and 1st 15

Tell what you think! And It would be great to see your take on a bobby ryan deal
