It would take a better offer from the Leafs to get Myers, who would be the Leafs #1 right shot d-man, from the Jets. Take out Hainsey, who would never make the Jets and add a top prospect.

I agree with islandjet, Myers would get more. And I wouldn’t want the canes trade. I don’t want Nylander to be traded bringing back an older version of himself. Involve him in a trade for a stud Dman or keep him long term.

First one is brutal for Toronto. Nylander is better than Skinner and Gardiner and better than Faulk.

Weber’s a great player. Don’t want him in Toronto with that contract unfortunately. He would be great to have for 3 years, then hurt the progress of the team after that. Habs can have him and price for the next 8 years while they hover around mediocrity.

Arizona turned down the 1st overall pick for OEL what makes you think marner and an average defensive prospect could fetch OEL. I don't think toronto would be comfortable trading for larsson. Would probably take Nylander + Marner which would be dumb to give up. Maybe Marner + Bracco + Dermott + 1st.

No way the Canucks accept that, Chris Tanev tends to be overpriced by Canucks fans and wayyyy underpriced by fans trying to get him. He is top 5 for shut down defencemen playing on a team that's 2nd last in the NHL. If he is getting traded, which isn't 100% there has to be a big return. If there isn't a big return, he isn't getting traded. This trade is not doing it for the Canucks.

I know the Canucks need scoring desperately but I don't think Tanev is available honestly. As much as I like JVR just too much uncertainty for me personally with him becoming a UFA in 2 years. He's going to get paid big time. Not sure if the Canucks can afford him with the Term and Dollar we just spent on Erikkson.

Besides the obvious first pick, at #15-20 the leafs should try and get Charlie McAvoy out of BU. The guy is an energy D who can skate, hit, and score. Another player they could get at that spot or maybe later would be Pascal Laberge, a center with terrific skill and hockey sense. With their #31-#34 pick, I think they should pick Carter Hart, a goalie for the Everett Silvertips. He reminds me a lot of Jake Allen with his instinctive reaction time to shots and could be a great goalie.
