1.) Stolarz could make the NHL in the next two years on a team that has sucky goalies. No way PHI trades him unless there's a bombshell coming back.
Otherwise, MDZ, Coburn, Simmonds for Eberle, it sounds good but EDM adds I feel like.
2.) Not sure Stolarz counts as a good young goalie prospect.
Coubrn could be had for less
Ive said this before, the only trade that makes sense for EDM to part with one of their young guys, is if its an age asset trade.

3.) I would think philly would say no to this deal.
Simmonds is one of the better second line wingers in the league and his cap hit is very low. He is the type of player that can score goals and give your team a physical boost.
Michael Del Zotto seems to be finding his form from when he started in new york as he has been one of philly best dman and is looking to be a solid top 4 guy again.
Stolarz is their only good goalie prospect if they traded him they would have nothing coming up.
in all I think it just takes to many of their stronger pieces in order to add one. I think another team could offer something close value wise to this deal but this would leave philly with one amazing top line and then little depth and horrible contracts throughout the rest of their lineup.

5.) I would do that trade from a leafs standpoint but I don't think the jets would have to add their 1st though. Probably a 2nd

3.) Amazing deal for both teams. One of the best pure hockey trades I've seen in a while.
4.) Sbr2017. it's not announced which teams pick it is. it is said to be whichever team has the higher pick
5.) I love this for buffalo they are stocked with young prospects and still have two more first round picks this year they are the one team that's able to trade that many young pieces and not take it on the chin. They now have two solid building blocks going forward both are young guys with some injury history but both are extremely talented.
As for the Jets still a good trade get stafford for the playoff run and depth, myers who will be with Trouba for many years now and basically three first round pick (Armia was a 1st rounder, the 1st rd pick, and Lemieux was the first pick in the second round).
to me that's a solid trade for both teams

But Buffalo is picking up two young top 4 draft picks young players and Murray is planning to make the playoffs next year.
7.) The sleeper of the trade just may be:
Jason Kasdorf RPI 2012-13, GGA-1.62, W-14, L-5, T-2, SV-521, SV%-0.935
He was injured last year and is not doing well this year, but does seem to have the talent to perform well.
8.) Kasdorf is a sleeper only in the way that you'll likely never hear his name in the NHL.
9.) @Chirp that is partly the definition of a sleeper. My point was he had a great year as a Freshman (which I summarized above), was injured last year and is playing much better this year but not up to his Freshman level. He will remain a Sabre prospect for one more year before he is either signed by the Sabres or becomes a free agent. If he has a Senior year similar to his Freshman year, I believe he will be signed to an ELC at the age of 23. But the odds are he will not be signed by the Sabres.

they aren't reallly comparable. sharp would take much more.
for loui maybe a 2nd + decent prospect + lower end roster player as cap dump for loui and a low end rospect/pick
sharp would definately be a 1st + god prospect/roster player.
