Hanifin and Lindholm believed to be part of a Hamilton trade. Pending trade call, maybe more prices involved. Skinner?

Wow canes must really like adam fox IMO. I think hanafin will be better then hamilton probably as quickly as next year and lindholm is already better then ferland.

I think Brady Tkachuk coming in to Ottawa right away has such a bigger impact then people realize, a kid like him, players love playing with, if he plays with Duchene and stone and develop chemistry Ottawa could be looking much better in a year, ik it’s a long shot and melnyk will some screw it up but I’m trying to be hopeful lol.

I’m not a Senators fan but I sure hope they don’t suck and give Colorado another good young players. If the Avs get Jack Hughes they’ll be scary in a couple years.

The duchene stone tkachuk line would have awesome potential. i don't think tkachuck will have an impact any higher then the average 18 year old. He's not a mcdavid or matthews type.

Brady Tkachuk hired Craig Oster (his uncle) as his agent to sign his ELC. Craig Oster is also Erik Karlsson and Mark Stones agent. I hope this kid does well, but I have zero faith that Melnyk is professional enough not to somehow screw this up and make him collateral damage in a negative negotiation process with the other 2. I could be wrong, but nothing he has done as an owner tells me he will stay out of the GMs way and handle this awkward situation properly.

Sorry islanders fans, but you still have a decent roster and if your forwards progress (barzal, beauvullier, etc. ) and you add a Defenceman and a goalie you’ll be solid

Lafreniere 2020 ðŸ™ðŸ¼. Played against him at the Montreal Mealtdown last year. Scored 4 goals in the 1st period he’s unreal best player I’ve ever seen. He’s a 01 but has a late birthday so he’ll be drafted in the 02 draft.

Yeah Colt, nhl players don’t start playing hockey at 18 lol they play in minor hockey leagues like the rest of us. A good friends of mine went to St Andrews College prep school in Aurora Ontario for grade 10 and 11. Played against Johnny Toews and Kyle Okposo on Shattuck-Saint Mary’s from Minnesota. The year before he went, Crosby and jack Johnson was on the team but he missed them.

Whats not to beleive. Rob and Scott Neidermayer grew up right across the street from me. played hockey and soccer withe them for years. between Jon Klemm with Colorado, Brad Lukowhich with Tampa and Dallas, and Scott and Rob, had many Stanley Cup parties. I even won thr cup. when Brad brought back. I was in the winning team in a game of road hockey, for some reason they didn't put my name or our team name on the cup. lol
It is a very small world.

Biggest draft steal? It very well could be Wahlstrom or even Dobson, I saw Wahlstrom go as high as 6 and Dobson at 4. Islanders always seem to have good drafts.

Projected by some to even go top 10. Hell, Veleno at five makes more sense than Hayton.
New York did well, but those players didn't really drop as much as Veleno.

There top two picks were handed to them on a silver platter because of brain farts by Arizona and the rangers. but bode Wilde was a real nice pick at where they got him and Jakob skarek was arguably the top goalie prospect in the draft overall they did well.

I watched the game, and I’m not saying Ekblad had it coming but Doni was clearly tired of the ankle slashes handed out by Ekblad. Ekblad was playing dirty, if you’re going to play with that edge you got to stand up for yourself and don’t go crying to refs when the guy wants a scrap. That being said I still think domi should’ve kept himself in check and probably should’ve gotten at least a game or 2 of regular season action.
