Both trades will leave the Jets much thinner and less effective down the middle.
I'm not adverse to trading these pieces but the return, especially for a centreman needs to be higher the Schenn.

2nd trade will be a no from the jets as a LHD is what they want as a starting point for a Trouba trade.
1st trade is a no from the oilers. As a jets fan I blasted oilers fans for continually offering a bunch of scraps (Yak, Reinhart) for top end talent. This no different. Burmi and Stuart rolled together don't offer any value.

Why not try to improve on little? If you do and the trade doesn't include little, why can't he be 3rd line?
How does this look for the future?
Laine/ Scheifle/ Wheeler
Conner/ upgrade/ ehlers
Lemieux/ Little/ Armia
Petan/ Lowry/ Lipon
You could switch Petan and Lemieux but this looks pretty solid to me. If you keep little in the 2nd line I'm good too but it's worth looking at it. Maybe Rosolovich is the answer.

I actually don't mind this one from a Jets perspective. Gardner is decent enough and left side dman. Getting more prospects can't hurt. If jets do this it would solve their most pressing need. I would then turn my attention to acquiring a top 2 centre. prospects would mostly likely be a part of that package and this trade helps that cause.
