Elite goalie for Elite goalie

KesselLovesKFC

1.) 10 Jan 2019 23:17:54
oh yaas.

2.) 11 Jan 2019 08:17:05
So close. Maybe Habs add a 2022 5th round pick to equal things out. Also team needs are spot on here.

3.) 11 Jan 2019 17:35:51
Add Panarin and its maybe possible.

4.) 17 Jan 2019 13:48:56
Habs need a top 6 rw and a top four lf d man that is it everyone moves down and plays were they should be then develop the team youngster with bouchard and Richardson
trade alzner and schemko hudon or give a minor league play for a top 4 d man.

Habs Juulsen and Scherbak + Primeau
Flyers Simmonds and Sanheim

Simmonds equal gritty forward to play with the Domi line

As for philly I know they need high defensive iq dman

For the rest I couldn't care less about the flyers

KesselLovesKFC

1.) 15 Nov 2018 04:55:44
Sanheim for Juulsen is about as lateral a move as they get. Both high quality defense prospect players. I’m not sure who carries more value at this point, but I do know Flyers are stacked on LHD and once Weber comes back, Montreal will be stacked RHD, so a trade scenario like this one isn’t unreasonable.

Simmonds for Sherbak + Primeau is questionable. Sherbak isn’t doing much, and Flyers already have Hart, so don’t really need Primeau.

2.) 15 Nov 2018 20:27:19
I'd do it from mtl and Juulsen has more value then Seinhem based on nhl performances and postion.

3.) 17 Nov 2018 20:51:24
I can't believe the stuff I'm reading here. The Habs weakest position is on defence. Left defence in particular. And people are proposing to trade away D men??

4.) 18 Nov 2018 16:30:34
Manofmyths you realise Juulsen is a RHD and Sanheim is a LHD. The trade would be a RW and RHD for a RW and LHD.

Habs Suzuki
Edm Puljujarvi

KesselLovesKFC

1.) 10 Nov 2018 16:46:49
No from mtl I want to see what Suzuki can do in the nhl before trading him. Plus Suzuki is a center and Pul is a winger so we would be trading from a position of weakness to help at are best position atm. Plus Suzuki stock is high atm especially after the start of the season he's having in the OHL. If you want to trade Fleury a second rd pick and Primeau for Pul that might be better for both teams.

2.) 10 Nov 2018 17:12:43
Oilers defs should hold onto pool party imo.

3.) 10 Nov 2018 18:34:05
Both of you can be right on this.

With mcdavid/ draisatl/ RNH up the middle, oilers needs a big scoring winger more than a small centre.

With Weaker centres and better wingers, habs probably better off banking on good centre prospects.

4.) 11 Nov 2018 14:20:22
Suzuki is RW.

5.) 11 Nov 2018 14:34:09
Suzuki can play center and right wing. He has proven this at the junior level at least.

Habs- Poehling
Cal- Valimaki

KesselLovesKFC

1.) 08 Nov 2018 04:01:00
I haven’t followed to see how poehling has progressed but haven’t heard much, so maybe not great? I have seen valimaki a cpl Times and looked good. Habs could use centres and D but with Suzuki and Kotka there now, maybe poehling is expendable? Pretty good post. Flames fans probably not fans of it though.

2.) 08 Nov 2018 10:25:09
Ryan Phoeljng is actually progresing well Jimmy. he's producing at a point a game rytim this year with St Cloud wich is good because theyres not a lot of goals in that league compared to juniors. he's nowthe number 1 center of his team and workedalot on the defensive side of the game to get theyre. We knew when we drafted him that he hasn't going to be a number 1 center but knew he was a locked to at the veryleast be a Michael Bakclund type center. He could still be a second line center who pitches on the first when needs be. He was a safe pick to be at least a 30+ point center that play 200 foot game + well defensively. Je dosntget u Valimaki from Fales because they really like him. And mtl will have Kotka at first line butafter that we will need a good second center and Phoeling should be that guy. He should be are third center next year.

3.) 08 Nov 2018 12:13:32
I think Calgary would say no. I think they need the D more than the F right now. They have a solid forward lineup and some analyst have said there's a log jam here with some guys like Bennet and Neal not getting enough playing time. Their D core is getting a little older and I think young Valimaki who is playing now is more valuable to them than a prospect Forward.

4.) 08 Nov 2018 14:01:02
Ya that's why flames say no yupp.

5.) 08 Nov 2018 17:28:04
Just looked at poehlings numbers. Pretty solid for NCAA, if he’s good defensively like you’re hoping he should be good. Also I thought he was drafted before 2017. He’s younger than I was thinking. I thought he was 2015 or 16.

6.) 08 Nov 2018 18:13:28
Habs fans, What is Poehling projected to be like? He was a mid first rounder right?
If he's good defensively like Jim says, puts up decent numbers, Could he be projected to be a real solid third line center maybe hopes of, Or higher?

7.) 08 Nov 2018 19:56:37
That’s what boonboom said they project him to be. A 200ft centre who can chip in a bit of offense.

8.) 08 Nov 2018 21:14:30
Hes a good two way player., I don't think he will be a star, I think the hope is that he can be a 2nd line center. however, I think more of a 3rd line, hopefully a shutdown kinda guy.

9.) 08 Nov 2018 21:25:10
His projection as of now is a 3rd line center with 2nd line center being his ceiling. His stats could be even better this year with a little luck. I watched 2 of his games so far this year one they won 7 to 1 I think and he didn't have a point. The other he hit 3 goal posts. ( should fit right in with the habs) even though he gets power play time he's not the go to guy as two older undersized players get most of the better looks. He doesn't have any 1 elite skill but good all around with good size and speed.

10.) 09 Nov 2018 05:20:18
Thing is calgary took so much time developing valimaki and he nhl caliber now, why trade to take a younger guy that may not be in the league for another 5 years.

Habs Hudon
Tampa Cirelli + Callahan (huge cap dump)

Tatar Danault Gallagher
Drouin Cirelli Domi
Byron Kotkaniemi Armia
Peca Plekanec Deslauriers

Rielly Weber
Mete Petry
Alzner Juulsen

KesselLovesKFC

1.) 21 Oct 2018 21:36:05
Wouldn't it be just as we'll to just keep hudon. I don't see any reason to take on bad contracts just cause we can afford to.

2.) 22 Oct 2018 01:06:42
Rather keep Hudon.

3.) 22 Oct 2018 09:35:38
TB doesn't do this either. Just 1 year left on Callahans deal after this season and TB is fine capwise this year. No need to ship out Cirelli in that deal.

4.) 24 Oct 2018 13:29:45
Hudon has proven more then Cireli and he is french so no from Habs.

Tbh Sergachev is a stud for his age, if he’d still be at Mtl he would have been 1st pair. Young highly skilled dman don’t come out of your backyard. Sergachev is a future elite dman so you might as well propose and future elite forward like Batherson. Cheap compensation is not going to be enough. The guys you proposed are the kind of guys that can be easily replaced by free agency.
