Dont know if this works for either team. Stone isn't resigned so you don't know what that will end up being or if he leaves for UFA. I don't think that Chicago would want to give up their first. From Ottawa, the first is nice but don't think they would want Keith if they are rebuilding. he could be a good leadership identity for their young d core but not sure if that would really benefit them.

i doubt chicago will trade toews in general. i think "captain serious" is going to be a blackhawk for life. but if i got karl back in the trade i'd do it. and if i gave up those picks i'd prefer seperate years.

As is it's way too steep for ottawa.
karlsson gets you toews the 1 prospect and the 2nd
Smith gets the other prospect

I think if islanders trade taveres they’ll want young assets to build around. If they trade taveres they’ll be rebuilding and I don’t think that towes and seabrook are guys you wanna be building around anymore. If Chicago wanted taveres I think it’s look more like debincrat, jakiharju, 2018 1st and seabrook as a cap dump. That would just be the starting point I thjnk.
