I don't see Habs/ Leafs making a deal.

I really think If I were Leafs, I'd try and get Nylander west. Ducks and Kings come to mind.

Agree with Sosa, also I think juulsen is a decent piece but shouldn't be the centrepiece of a Nylander trade. Need someone more proven for the blueline. Juulsen is just starting to make an impact in the Nhl so probably only a year or so ahead of liljegren/ Sandin. I think they either want a lot more proven Dman that they can throw in the top 4 vs playoff teams right away, or a far better more experienced forward with a project Dman.

With all due respect Jimmy, Lekonen is better then Kapanen and you have him in your top 6 so Lekonen would be first line in Toronto and would be a 50 + point player. Then u add Juulsen and it's just not fair for habs. Mtl says hell no on that one.

I don’t see lehkonen as being that good, but you know better than me on him. If he’s good enough to be top line on leafs then you’re right, keep him. I wouldn’t be overly pleased with that return tho.

I don't think I'd call Lekhonen better than Kappenen. Its close.

Lehkonen ia not better than kappanen, lol kappanen plays pk, pp, grinds his ass off and has an incredible ceiling. This is his first full season/ opportunity. Lekohnen has played 2 seasons previous and barely broke the 20 point mark. Kappanen is younger, bigger, faster and plays an incredible 200 foot game.

In regards to this trade it’s not even close for nylander. Juuleson is still a prospect as in he’s done nothing to warrant being the top 4 defense and lekohonen does not make up that difference.

Dubois a year after being drafted so high looked awful at the World Juniors and at times didn’t notice him at all. He’s redeemed himself since and looks good, but it’s not fair to compare him to a kid drafted 3 months ago.
