Okposo is definitely worth more than a 2nd Round Pick. But he won't get you Ekman-Larsson. Or the third overall draft pick.

Couple different trades:
Edm-NYI
1. Josh Bailey for David Perron
2. Griffin Reinhart and Matt Donovan for 2015 1st
3. Bailey, Reinhart and 2016 1st for Hall
CBJ-NYI
Grabner and Donovan/Mayfield for Foglino
I think the only realistic trade is #1 of EDM-NYI. But I want to see your guys thoughts on these. I think MacTavish would consider all of 3 of those trades because he isn't to smart. As an Isles fan I'm not trading anybody right now but towards Allstar break time I think Snow makes some moves.

IMO the Oilers decline all 3.
Bailey isn't worth as much as Perron.
Reinhart is a very good prospect, but the Oils 2015 1st is a legit chance at McDavid or Eichel. they won't pass on that, unless they get a proven star for it, IMO.
Third is a good start, but I don't think they'd ever trade Hall. Yakupov and even Eberle are more likely to go.
2.) With a pick added from NYI I could see the 1st trade happen. The others are as you said not likely to happen.
3.) The last one with Columbus make me wanna throw up. A guy on IR and a healthy scratch/AHLer for a point per game player this year. Phenomenal.

2.) Yakupov is not worth Nelson, I would only give Bailey and Donovan for him. Needs change of teams badly to be the player he was in Juniors
3.) Then keep Bailey and Donovan because they never get you Yakupov. Why would Edmonton trade him for those players? Besides Bailey they aren't an improvement, so no.
4.) Edmonton doesn't want to get rid of him.
They are open to a trade for the right return, which isn't that proposal

2. nail makes like 3+ mil in actual dollars, cap hit means nothign atm for the isles or EDM really, neather are up against the cap.

Tavares leaving? Where did you here this? Let me guess those guys from Toronto, Isles having best year while he's not to his full potential and once he gets going the team will be unbelievable. Why would he want to leave a winning club and go to some team that is terrible (Maple Leafs)

You are overvaluing Kane, he is not work 3 1st round picks. The trade would be Reinhart, Bailey, Donovan, Collberg and Czuczman. The islanders won't give up both pulock and Reinhart or give up Strome Nelson or lee they are part of there future.
