Blues trade: Tarasenko

Devils trade: Mcleod, 1st round pick 2019

Blues trade: Pietrangelo, Allen

Flyers trade: sanheim, Simmonds, Elliot, 1st round pick 2019, 2nd round pick 2020

Blues say no on both. The first one isn’t even in the right ballpark, Senko will get much more than that. Second trade is better but still not enough.

All kinds of precedents indicate that you are pretty close to the right trade value for Tarasenko. Maybe a little short, but we’re talking throw-in, not significant piece.

Prospect reports on McCleod are fantastic. I’ve never seen him play, but from what I’ve read, he is lightning in skates. Extremely fast and highly skilled. Blues would do well to insist on McCleod in any trade involving Tarasenko with NJ.

It sounds like a short offer for Tarasenko, but ole ty of previous trades seem to suggest it’s not that far off: Kessel (twice), O’Reilly, Brayden Schenn, just off the top of my head. All similar players to Tarasenko with very similar stats. All traded for 2x1st + extras.

Wild trade: Dumba, Coyle

Nucks trade: Boeser, tanev, 3rd round pick 2020

Idk if either team would trade dumba or boeser but I think it would help the Canucks out for young D and size with coyle

Of you have watched Boeser and Petterson play together, Canucks would be fools to split that up. That instant chemistry is always nice, but when both players are like 22 or under, that could be a top duo for 15 years. Would take a massive overpayment and this just isn’t it.

Definitely huge no from Vancouver. And like Jim said you can’t break up that duo they are so dynamic and dangerous it would be beyond foolish to trade one away.
