DaKeGa

1.) 20 May 2019 04:51:31
Winnipeg would rather keep Lowry.

2.) 20 May 2019 05:40:32
What would you think would be worth a trade for lowry?

3.) 20 May 2019 07:01:08
so much no here.
ottawa says no: bran was the key piece in the stone trade
I feel like islanders would value wahlstrom more than the pieces in return.
no from both teams, perlini and forsling are on good deals and jets value lowry more than that

i'd love to pick up byram for draft.
i'd say no to tanev, i don't know how much of a fit he'd be
i don't know about salary for kapanen, if we can afford it and even if we did i'd imagine toronto would find a way to match salary.

4.) 20 May 2019 07:33:23
Adding a draft pick maybe?

5.) 20 May 2019 07:58:34
OTT, NYI & WPG all say no

6.) 20 May 2019 15:06:17
DaKeGa, I doubt think the Jets would really entertain trading Lowry at all, unless someone really overpaid, especially to a division rival. He's a really good shut down center and would cost us more to replace him than what he is making.

7.) 20 May 2019 15:12:01
Winnipeg could trade Lowry but not for this package.

8.) 20 May 2019 18:08:24
Definitely some a stretch to see these moves but chicago needs to fill these holes to contend; strome/ cat need someone who can forecheck and backcheck to create some room for them and the 3rd line needs an overhaul with saad, a strong face-off man and a couple of hard checking forwards that can be on the pk. A shutdown defenseman is needed to play with either Gustaffson or Seabrook as well this year.

9.) 20 May 2019 18:29:28
Anyone in a jets uniform that can’t put up points are considered to be very good defensively. We heard this about Laine and Ehlers this year.

Chi; Jacob Trouba
Win; Duncan Keith

Chi; Pavel Zacha
NJ; Artem Anisimov

Chi; Erik Cernak
TB; Brendan Perlini
Gustav Forsling

DaKeGa

1.) 26 Apr 2019 02:05:12
That wouldn't be a bad trade for trouba if this was 2012.

2.) 26 Apr 2019 02:22:50
Why has no one proposed this trade for Trouba before? It’s brilliant! Unfortunately though, Winnipeg says no thanks.

3.) 26 Apr 2019 09:14:38
tampa trade is horrid, hell no from chicago.

4.) 26 Apr 2019 12:59:36
What. tampa declines, not chicago.

5.) 26 Apr 2019 14:54:40
I believe the Jets could get a much better return if they trade Trouba.

6.) 26 Apr 2019 15:45:37
How about a 2nd round draft pick with Keith. Keith would go to hometown and bring leadership qualities and Stanley cup experience plus he still eats up tonnes of minutes.
Trouba still needs a contract and is difficult to sign, maybe only signs for 6.5 for 1 year anyway and becomes a Ufa again.

7.) 26 Apr 2019 16:45:27
The 2nd round pick doesn't add anything to the deal. Trouba will be traded to a team where he is willing to sign an extension. Your offer would not even be considered.

8.) 26 Apr 2019 18:13:00
If you think CHI declines Cernak for Perlini and Forsling, you're insane. TB doesn't do this in a million years.

9.) 29 Apr 2019 01:48:10
Oh yes. Chicago fans are so very rare on this site. It is so very pleasant to see someone post a trade so very favor to Chicago. If they make these trades then they will win cup again, yes.

William Nylander will not be signed and will sit out this season. You heard it here first. Toronto will trade his rights in the off-season.

DaKeGa

1.) 01 Dec 2018 03:45:41
They are rapidly running out of time. The impasse appears to be insurmountable. I’ve always liked Nylander until now. I feel this was a childish move motivated entirely by greed and individualism. Not a team player at all. He has been a distraction to the organization. Leafs can still trade him before trade deadline. And that just might happen. My thought is we unload him on a non-contender for a first and prospects/ players. Since Nylander can’t contribute to the team’s success this year, we hope the receiving team tanks and that 1st becomes a lottery pick.

2.) 01 Dec 2018 05:47:04
Its really not much of a suprise if he doesn't sign. if ya woulda made this statement, maybe early November. woulda been more of a discussion.

3.) 01 Dec 2018 12:36:02
Are they really just going to let him sit all season? An asset like that sitting out an entire season is huge.

4.) 01 Dec 2018 14:51:31
I’ve said all along I believe he signs and I still do. I always assumed a 6 year deal, I’m thinking they will announce a shorter term today. I don’t believe he sits the year, but maintain what I’ve said all along which is IF they don’t get him signed, I’d much rather him sit the year than get fleeced in a deal at the last minute. Trade him at the draft when you know where everyone is picking and 30 teams could potentially get involved instead of 3 or 4.

5.) 01 Dec 2018 14:57:06
letting him sit is better than over paying him.

hes not an 8 million dollar player, period. he's done nothing to prove he's even as good as pasta (which he isnt) he doesn't deserve more money than pasta.

im pretty sure its his dad whos telling him not to sign.

bugs me because if he really does think he's an 8 milion dollar player, then sign the bridge and bet on yourself.

6.) 01 Dec 2018 16:33:47
Ovie. He is the same player as Pasta was at the time of him signing his contract. Numbers all similar thru the 1st 180 games. Yes Nylander got to play with Matthews, but Pasta got to play with Marchand and Bergeron.

7.) 01 Dec 2018 16:53:35
Bob McKenzie has been active on it this morning and says trade is a real long shot, bridge makes most sense for Nylander but says he believes Nylander won’t ealk away from $40+ mill and will sign today or sit the season. Nylander stil won’t have arbitration rights for another 2 accrued seasons of he let's today’s deadline pass. He has so little leverage it’s crazy it’s gone this long. In Bob we trust.

8.) 01 Dec 2018 17:18:58
I think it's kinda sad a highly skilled young player may miss a season in hockey's greatest league. seems like a waste.

Is he able to sign with lower leagues? Over in Europe, Is he kinda owned by he NHL as well.?

9.) 01 Dec 2018 17:52:47
Yes he can sign anywhere he’s not under contract.

10.) 01 Dec 2018 18:29:40
Ya. thanks VB, I kinda had a brain fart. I shoulda known that.

11.) 01 Dec 2018 18:35:46
Toronto just owns his NHL rights, correct? So he could go play in Europe if he wanted to or does he also need Torontos permission for be loaned out?

This hold out is the longest of its kind in the CBA era.

12.) 01 Dec 2018 20:46:23
He can play in Europe if he wants. However earopean league play will never count as an accrued seasons even though the CBa says ‘pro seasons’ to meats arbitration rights and UFA.

13.) 01 Dec 2018 22:08:30
Well DakeGa, you heard it here first: you were wrong.

14.) 01 Dec 2018 23:39:52
Haha, that was more possible of happening than every trade rumor posted on here. Sparked some debate however. Looks like he is a Maple Leaf for this year as they push for a cup run with his front loaded contract. This is going to be the way of the future for signing players.

01 Dec 2018 00:06:08
Chicago: Patrick Kane, Corey Crawford
Columbus: Sergei Bobrovsky, Alex Wennberg, Pierre-Luc Dubois

DaKeGa

1.) 01 Dec 2018 03:48:28
Obviously all the players mentioned here are outstanding. Each and every single one of these guys. Some of them are/ were the best in the world at their position. Dubois is looking more and more like he will be an elite talent at his position, and in my opinion, is the reason Columbus doesn’t make this trade. Dubois is on the rise, while Kane is on decline. That $10.5M that Kane makes May also be a big deterrent for Columbus.

29 Nov 2018 19:21:21
Winnipeg: Matthieu Perreault, 3rd round pick
Chicago: Duncan Keith, Chicago retains 1.54 of Keith's salary

Duncan goes home to Winnipeg.

DaKeGa

1.) 29 Nov 2018 21:02:50
no way. keith could get way more than perreault and a 3rd. especially with salary retained.

2.) 29 Nov 2018 21:16:58
The trade is fair but the Jets say no because Keith has too long a term left for a 35 year old on the down slope of a great career.

3.) 29 Nov 2018 21:59:13
No from the Jets. They wouldn't want any part of Meeting Keith's contract.

I would rather ship out A. Nylander than add W. Nylander. We will trade ya Erik Gustafson, Drake Caggiula and Alex Nylander for K. Kapanen and a 2nd round draft pick conditional if Gustafson re-signs.

No thanks on murray; I would rather stick with Crawford with a prospect for back-up if he has heath issues. I would like to see Crawford step down after next year or sign a team friendly contract to mentor the future.
