Lighting get Girgensons who can step up as a 2nd line center if Stamkos leaves. He can also play the wing. Franson can help them on the power play. Baptiste is one of the Sabres very good prospect and defiantly has the potential to be a good NHL player. The Sabres get a player to play with Eichel in the future. And the lighting get rid of Carle's contract.

Stamps will either walk, or re-sign. Can't see Yzerman trading Stamkos. Also I think people need to understand that it's not like their have been talks gone wrong between Stamkos and Yzerman. If their was, he would prob be on the trading block by now. I think that when the time comes a deal will be signed. I read somewhere on a site that Yzerman hasn't actually made him an offer yet. So really who knows, guess we'll see.

Disagree NumbNut that's a pretty big package. I'm sure Tampa would want a more elite player back with less quantity but 5 solid pieces going back for one top end player isn't realistic for either side.
