Mtl: Suzuki, Brook, Phoeling

Carolina: Slavin

Mtl get very good top LHD to play with Weber and bump down Mete to second pair. Carolina gets an A prospect in Suzki,a possible future replacement for Slavin in Brook and a future replacement for Staal in Phoeling.

1.) 14 Feb 2019 01:33:20
Pretty awful trade for Montreal.

2.) 14 Feb 2019 03:04:53
Carolina would love this deal, but I don’t think Montreal sacrifices so much of their future for Slavin.

3.) 14 Feb 2019 14:47:59
Habs decline. Way too much of our young talent.

4.) 15 Feb 2019 01:26:43
Might as well add Kotkaniemi and

14 Feb 2019 00:21:02
Mtl: Lekonen, Benn, 3rd2019

Blue Jackets: Murray, Dubinski(10%)

Mtl takes about to 5 million in cap with Dubinski until 2021 but gets they're LHD for cheaper because they're doing so. Jackets clear about 8 million total in cap and still gets peaces that can help now and a pick. Lekonen is a good young top 9 winger that should fit well in the mix and Benn can replace Murray on the bottom pair because I heard that's where he was playing sometimes because of the depth they have in the blue line.

1.) 14 Feb 2019 03:08:05
Jackets aren’t getting a good enough return here. Dubinsky and Murray are arguably the better players and the 3rd doesn’t add anything.

13 Feb 2019 00:03:49
Mtl: Lekonen, 2rd 2019

Caroline: De Haan

Mtl gets exactly the type of defensemen they need in they're top 4 and Carolina gets quite a lot for a guy that all they had to do was sign him. Lekonen will fit in good with Aho and the boys while the second rd pick will help Carolina with they're prospect pool.

1.) 13 Feb 2019 03:26:00
But Boom, that kinda ruins the plans of Habs being all Finns.? I thought u wanted to add more Finns for Kk?

2.) 13 Feb 2019 04:59:16
If Montréal really needs De Haan that bad then I think this is a good trade.

3.) 13 Feb 2019 14:48:48
Don't really need dehann that much.

4.) 13 Feb 2019 15:53:55
I’m pretty sure if Carolina could get anything close to that for DeHaan he would have been sent packing long ago.

5.) 13 Feb 2019 23:40:47
No thanks from montreal.

6.) 14 Feb 2019 00:24:11
Why are you putting words in my mouth Sosa. Ya it's a plus being a Finn and all but Lekonen is a top 9 player with the amount of value that can start a conversation going to get are top 4 D. I'm thinking about what's best for the team.

7.) 14 Feb 2019 00:25:29
We do Mcjesus. The reason why is if this team wants to be a contender wich I honestly think they are not that far out when Price is at his best, Reilly has to be a third pairing not second. DeHann and Petry would be a solid second pair. After this trade another bruising guy in the top 9 and this team would be hard to play against during the playoffs.

8.) 14 Feb 2019 01:35:34
I don’t think Montréal is ANYWHERE near being a contender haha but I think this would be a good pick up for their defense.

12 Feb 2019 11:34:45
Mtl: Juulsen, Phoeling

Philly: Ghostibehere

Mtl gets a good LHD while Philly gets a good young RHD and a big A center prospect

1.) 12 Feb 2019 15:02:18
No from Montreal.

2.) 12 Feb 2019 18:04:30
No from Montreal? I was thinking Flyer’s would be the ones saying no here. Poehling and Juulsen are a couple real good prospects, but neither is proven at NHL level. I expect Flyers would want a return that would improve the team immediately without having to wait for guys to develop.

3.) 12 Feb 2019 18:18:40
Isn’t Juulsen out with a severe vision injury that a couple weeks ago was being called career threatening? Why would flyers trade cost controlled player for one unproven and one who may never be the same? If juulsen comes back and picks up the progress he was making, it could be revisited but as it is Flyers would get better offers.

4.) 12 Feb 2019 20:22:08
I firmly believe a team would give up much more then this for Ghost.

11 Feb 2019 18:04:20
Mtl: Fleury, 2rd 2019, Lekonen

Philly: Simmonds

Mtl can try Simmonds on the power play and he can also bring some energy and bruising in the top 9. No Philly don't get a first but a first is never a guarantee. Lekonen can replace Simmonds in the top 9 not the same type of player but he is still young and already a leader for his team with his A. Fleury is a B+ prospect and the second is going to be the earliest one that mtl has

1.) 11 Feb 2019 18:43:19
Im sure Philly will look for better offers.

2.) 11 Feb 2019 18:57:26
I wouldn't do it from a habs perspective unless simmonds could be resigned to a good contract.

Sam Gagner back to Edmonton. What do you Oilers fan think about this?

1.) 17 Feb 2019 19:28:22
Bad contract for bad contract but I love it. Fan favourite and he won’t be worse than Spooner. Looks like he can work a PP too.

2.) 17 Feb 2019 22:11:26
It's a no less situation for edm really I think gagner is actually a much better player.

3.) 18 Feb 2019 04:57:08
I personally like bringing back a familiar face that had some pretty good years in Edmonton. Spooner might still be a good player too. He looked good in Boston, I was surprised when he left.

08 Feb 2019 14:13:58
Mtl: Gallagher

Devils: Zacha, Johanson

1.) 08 Feb 2019 14:27:00
Gallahger is here tell at least the trade deadline before his contract expires. Deal with it.

2.) 08 Feb 2019 15:52:28
Boom. can you explain why you always want to trade Gallagher?

05 Feb 2019 21:23:17
Lak: Carter

Mtl: 2rd 2019

Mtl takes on a bad contract for the next 4 years but are getting a big center for the playoffs and he should be a top 9 player for the rest of his contract if he stays healthy. At 5.5 million I year until he's 40 I can't see why mtl gives more then a second

1.) 05 Feb 2019 21:43:15
I wouldn't mind for a 2nd.

2.) 06 Feb 2019 16:45:58
I dunno. he's pretty injury riddled. I'd say if only 2 years., sure . With the Alzner contract already a burden, wouldn't want to add another one.
If we could magically make the Alzner one go away, I'd be all for it.

03 Feb 2019 14:52:46

Mtl gets a decent center for playoff and Dallas gets a pick and saves 7 million

25 Jan 2019 19:46:04
Jack Adam's possible winner this year = Claude Julien.

1.) 25 Jan 2019 21:39:51
I'm sure he will get some votes. However, Barry Trotz would be my vote.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 22:28:39
No I don't think he will get it. Trotz or peters are probably the leading candidates righ now.

I like Bowey, lots of people are saying he's a terrible defenceman so Idk. His numbers are good for a young defensemen tho.

Zamboni in this trade Nashvile is giving up Fiala and Tolvanen to acquire Duchene wich is not bad. Its slot to give up for a rental yes but that rental is over a ppg this season and Tolvanen, for all we know could never pan out in the nhl. Or become a beast. Fiala is going to be a 50 point player imo. Good top 6 player a better Marcus Johanson imo.

This seems fair to me, if theyres a budding war for his services I could see another team proposing asimilar trade but with a B prospect on top of it.

The only thing I agree with what you said Ramboo is Ceci= Bennett and even that is debatable.
