OTT: lazar
ARI: Duclar.

BOOBIES

1.) 22 Dec 2016 03:21:23
Lazar > Duclair.

2.) 22 Dec 2016 22:28:25
Why would Arizona get rid of duclair? He has great chemistry with domi.

Lol yea last year this year he's as useful as socks in a shower.

Canucks need a rebuild. It's time they take off with the Sedins. Unfortunately for them, the elite teams (CHI, SJS, PIT, NYR) lack the cap space to pull off a deal and/ or have enough scoring forwards which means they don’t need them. OTT seem to be a team in the middle that has both the cap space and can be competitive. Plus they could use the Sedins help to get far in the playoffs.

VAN: Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin
OTT: Bobby Ryan, Curtis Lazar, Andrew Hammond, 2016 1st, 2017 2nd, + Prospects.

BOOBIES

1.) 18 Dec 2016 12:16:57
Canucks have no need/ use/ want for Hammond but I'd do I'd as a Nucks fan. Doubt the twins could get a return like this unless we retain salary tho.

2.) 18 Dec 2016 13:40:27
You will not get that much for the Sedins. The owner loves Hank and Dan so he will not allow a trade anyways. The only hope for the Canucks is to win the draft. We need a legit centre who can replace Hank. I really like Horvat but don't think he's that guy.

3.) 18 Dec 2016 16:55:55
U got this off sportster

4.) 18 Dec 2016 22:34:21
Ryan's contract would be the salary you're taking back 7.25 the next 5 years. Hammonds contract is 1.35 for 2 more years.

5.) 19 Dec 2016 03:10:59
The 2016 draft has already happened.

09 Dec 2016 03:49:45
ARI: Duclair, Michael Stone
OTT: Cody Ceci, Curtis Lazar

OTT line up
Hoffman - Brassard - Stone
Dzingel - Turris - Ryan
Smith - Pageau - Duclair
Pyatt - Kelly - Neil

Methot - Karlsson
Phaneuf - M. Stone
Boro - Wideman.

BOOBIES

1.) 09 Dec 2016 07:02:52
No from Arizona

2.) 09 Dec 2016 16:26:04
Duclair is a bust.

3.) 09 Dec 2016 17:12:25
I think this trade is really fair. ARZ gets 2 prospoects, they're rebuilding, OTT gets a ready TOP 4 D plus Duclair would fit nicely on any of the 4 lines.

07 Dec 2016 03:19:27
Trade deadline push for the cup:
NYI: John Tavares
OTT: Derick Brassard, Prospect Colin White, 2017 1st, 2016 2nd

Serious proposal.
Sens FEB 2017 healthy line up
Hoffman - Tavares - Stone
Macarthur - Turris - Ryan
Dzingel - Pageau - Pyatt
Smith - Kelly - Neil/ Lazar.

BOOBIES

1.) 07 Dec 2016 05:45:35
That trade is so bad I might get a disease.

2.) 07 Dec 2016 07:00:03
@McJ
And every other 9/ 10 trades for John Tavares. People on this site seem to think they can get a franchise player for one good player and a couple prospects / couple picks.

3.) 07 Dec 2016 15:17:33
I know it's ridiculous.

4.) 08 Dec 2016 04:17:53
Tavares and Lee to Leafs for Nylander and Kadri.

06 Dec 2016 21:37:48
OTT: 2016 2nd
ARI: Duclair

OTT: Robinson, 2017 3rd
STL: Yakupov

Line up
Hoffman - Brassard - Stone
Dzingel - Turris - Duclair
Smith - Pageau - Yakupov
Pyatt - Kelly - Neil.

BOOBIES

1.) 06 Dec 2016 22:07:19
No from Arizona.

2.) 06 Dec 2016 22:08:19
If that's all you think ARZ will get for Duclair, i'm sorry.

3.) 06 Dec 2016 23:23:47
No dice how bout a 2nd.

4.) 07 Dec 2016 03:31:01
Since when is yakupov that valuable? Lol since he put on the blues jersey?

5.) 07 Dec 2016 05:43:09
Yak is worth a 5th rounder at this point.

6.) 07 Dec 2016 15:04:42
Duclair on pace for 3 goals this season, more likely headed to AHL.

7.) 08 Dec 2016 18:20:09
blues will not tradew yak. He will just be a depth player unless shatty is traded which at this point it isn't happening.

Not enough. OTT adds either Stone or Hoffman.

BOOBIES

1.) 08 Dec 2016 10:11:40
So sez you!

13 Apr 2016 03:21:25
OTTs heac coach just got fired. Also with a lot of teams underperforming, a lot of coaches are in the hot seat. Assuming BOS head coach Claude Julien gets fired, what team do you guy thin best suits him and which one will he go for?

Is Erik Karlsson maybe enough to lure him to OTT?

BOOBIES

1.) 13 Apr 2016 18:04:03
I honestly don't know why the Ottawa media is going crazy about the POSSIBILITY of Julien being fired. Ottawa isn't a good fit. Biggest complaint about Julien is he is too tough on young players and doesn't develop them. Bruce Cassidy in Providence developed a lot of the current Bruins and Ottawa is one of the youngest teams so I don't get it other than how Julien is from Ottawa.

2.) 13 Apr 2016 21:12:57
julien has bergeron, one of the most respected and one of if not the best 2 way player in the nhl. what about karlsson screams 2 way player.

3.) 14 Apr 2016 05:59:23
What's your point Ovie?

4.) 14 Apr 2016 18:52:14
he asked if karlson was enough to lure him to ottawa, karlson isn't the type of player julien would be lured for. and i doubt any couch gets lured by a player, its the other way around if anything. good enough point?

5.) 15 Apr 2016 06:53:46
I guess so. Lol but Ottawa is young and working towards playoffs and Boston is starting to miss playoffs. I don't know I'm not saying Ottawa is better but I don't see why a coach wouldn't want to go there also who wouldn't want Karlsson on there team.

12 Apr 2016 22:14:40
BOS fires head coach Claude Julien, OTT hires him.

BOOBIES

1.) 13 Apr 2016 01:10:34
Ottawa can't afford him. As simple as that. Fans already complain about how Melnyk doesn't put enough money into the players.

2.) 13 Apr 2016 05:53:27
I could see Julien plausibly ending up in Ottawa, but I actually have a feeling it'll end up being Todd Nelson. He was great as the interim coach of the Oilers and is due for a full-time NHL gig.

3.) 13 Apr 2016 08:19:28
Loved him with the Oilers but I feel most teams want more NHL experience. Wish he would've been assistant with us. But who knows hopefully he gets a shot somewhere.

4.) 13 Apr 2016 08:59:41
No coach can be experienced until they get their first crack. Nelson is due. There is a pretty solid list of available options out there, but I have a feeling a team is going to take a chance on Nelson sooner rather than later.

5.) 13 Apr 2016 13:49:20
Lol yeah good point. But if guys like Hitchcock or Julien become available he'll be down the list. He did some good things with the Oilers and he definitely deserves a shot.

11 Apr 2016 20:30:32
Assuming that BOS cuts ties with HC Claude Julien for them missing the playoffs 2 seasons in a row, what teams would interest him and how much will it cost to get him as HC. In his years as the BOS HC he averaged .620 win % and winning 1 of 2 Stanley Cup Finals appearances.

ARI, JETS, COL, OTT, MTL, MIN, STL (if they don't make it far in playoffs) I assume would all be interested.

BOOBIES

1.) 12 Apr 2016 00:32:16
Put Vancouver in that mix for Julien.

2.) 12 Apr 2016 14:07:01
Montreal's GM just stated Therian isn't getting fired.

27 Mar 2016 20:20:53
Assuming Stamkos stays in TBL, that would leave them short in trying to resign Kucherovs expiring contract. Also, after the 2016/ 17 season, palat's johnson's and bishop'scontracts are expiring. If I were TBL, I would keep my forwards and let go of bishop, as vasilevskiys more than ready to take the starting job. How much can bishop get if he tests free agency? Better yet what are teams willing to trade for a goalie who's in an expiring contract and probably looking for a deal similar to holtby's or Crawford.

BOOBIES

1.) 27 Mar 2016 21:20:40
Well some people may disagree with me, but if u look at bishops stats, he is a top 2-3 goalie in the league. So even tho they have vasi the asking price would still be pretty high.

2.) 27 Mar 2016 21:20:40

3.) 27 Mar 2016 22:14:56
Don't get me wrong I really like Bishop. Some teams may be willing to pay a lot. But I don't think he's a top 2-3 goalie in the league. He's no Price Henrik or Schneider.

4.) 27 Mar 2016 22:46:39
Cory Conacher? Plus a pick? . Jk. I think he's turned into a top 10 goalie in the league. jus below the top guys. Price. Henrik.
Ottawa should try and get him back? Maybe some set of a bigger package deal? With some Drouin, Ceci some of the names involved. But, then again, they could wait till next season.

5.) 28 Mar 2016 02:27:46
I don't see Bishop and Drouin as a package in a deal headlined by Ceci. Value just not there and giving too many pieces in division not to get value.

6.) 28 Mar 2016 03:24:59
I would trade some of Callahan, Coburn, Garrison, Fillpula and let Carle walk. That's around $25 Mil right there.

7.) 28 Mar 2016 13:12:01
BJ Callahan and Coburn have full NTC Filpulla and Garrison have partial. Tampa doesn't have replacements for Garrison or Coburn and couldn't get them for the price of Garrison and Coburn and they just signed Coburn to a year extension. I see them buying Carle out and trying to trade Filpulla but I doubt either of the D men go and Callahan would be tough to move an would be tough on the locker room.

8.) 28 Mar 2016 15:53:02
Just let Stamkos come to Toronto and you won't have to worry :P.

9.) 29 Mar 2016 04:23:48
Yeah makes sense jbs. I don't follow the Lightning but I'd imagine one or two would have No movements. Killorn will probably walk in free agency and doesn't TB have lots of young Dmen that could replace them? Nesterov, Sustr, Koekkoek, Deangelo are all young and could maybe handle a bigger role. Maybe not immediate replacements but they also have Masin, Macleod and Spencer and probably more coming up. With that said if I'm Yzerman I try to move Filpula and maybe Garrison. And I agree with Carle. Just get him of the books before resigning everyone.

10.) 29 Mar 2016 12:38:53
Ya I see Killorn gone in free agency. Nesterov can't handle more than bottom pair makes too many mistakes still. Koekkoek had played very well in Syracuse but Cooper doesn't seem to want to give him a shot when he's called up. I'm getting frustrated with Coop. Sustr makes mistakes but overall had taken a decently large step forward this season not the dumpster fire he once was. DeAngelo needs at least 1 more year in the AHL I think. Masin Spencer and McLeod are a few years away and I'm not sold on any of them topping out as more than a 3rd pair guy right now. I guess they could move Garrison and get by if they had to but I'm not sure what his trade protection is. I know when Vancouver traded him he refused to go anywhere but Florida.

11.) 29 Mar 2016 20:06:13
Bishop could be the missing piece in the Flames quasi-rebuild if he tests free agency.

You'll need to retain like 70% for Ottawa even start talking haha. Eugene is so cheap. Regardless iggy would want to go to a contender. Ottawa is not legit YET.
