A few trades for Ottawa throughout the rest of the season.

At the deadline

To Nashville:
Chris Neil
Ottawa's 2015 4th

To Ottawa:
Nashville's 2015 2nd

Everyone will say Neil isn't worth a 2 but Nashville's will be very late and if other teams are interested then I think Nashville will give it up. I think the 4th helps complete the deal.

Let's assume Ottawa picks between 4-8 and doesn't win the lottery

At the draft

To Ottawa:
Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Zybnek Michalek's rights

To Arizona:
Ottawa's 1st 2015
Dallas 2nd 2015
Robin Lehner
Mark Stone
Eric Gryba or Marc Borowiecki

Ottawa gains a huge improvement on defense which has been their biggest issue. Arizona then drafts a Dman (Hanifin/Kylington/Werenski) and Center (Marner/Strome). Arizona gets Gryba or Borowiecki as depth, a solid young player in stone. A potential starting goalie in Lehner and a early-mid 2nd.

Ottawa then trades their two 2nd round picks to move up to 27-30 and then they select Mackzenie Blackwood from Barrie to replace Lehner as the future goalie and they sign a backup in the off season.

Really like this actually

2.) 11 Feb 2015
I don't think there's any chance Neil gets a 2nd even with a 4th added to him
