Really amped up for the draft this year, supposed to be a great one

here is what I think the players will turn out to be ( player comparable)

mcdavid, 1C- datsyuk
eichel 1C - getzlaf
hanifin top 2 D- d keith
marner 1C/W- p kane
strome 1/2 C- idk ryan johansen?
kylington top 2 D - OEL
crouse top 6 winger- patches
barzal 1/2 center- not sure

as you can see I have some holes in my list, i'd love to see what you guys have to say about these guys or make a list of your just like the way I did.

and one last question. who do you think is most underrated prospect projected to go in the first round this year?

@moves like Jagr how would you rank Crouse Barzal and Porvorov? And yeah this seems like its going to be a ridiculously deep draft.

@charles xavier I think crouse had a great game in the prospects game tonight. so did provorov with some huge hits. sucks that barzal is injured but I think he might the steal of the draft if he slips out of the top 10

I may be proved wrong but if I was picking in the top 10 I wouldn't take crouse or Jeremy roy. my early projected steal of the draft will be Nicolas meloche probably late 1st or early 2nd round pick

The only team dumb enough to take Eichel #1 could possibly be NJD. They're that bad at drafting.

Basically I think McDavid is better at getting the puck in the zone, making plays and stick checking people in the offensive and neutral zone. I think Eichel is better at keeping the puck in the zone, along the boards and forecheking, finishing plays and in the defensive zone. Its not that I think Eichel is better than McDavid I just prefer the way he plays more. And my personal draft rankings as of right now would be
1 ) Eichel
2 ) McDavid
3 ) Hanifin
4 ) Marner
5 ) Kylygnton
6 ) Crouse
7 ) Barzal
8 ) Porvorov
9 ) Strome
10) Rantanen

Eichel is overrated in the American market. A lot of Americans say he's as good as McDavid because they're being biased. McDavid is obviously more skilled offensively, Eichel has his size defensively though. Were basicaly comparing Crosby and Getzlaf. Crosby would easily be taken first. But since Eichel is from the US Americans think he's the next Jesus.

But i'm Canadian and i'm simply going based on what I have seen from the 2 prospects and Eichel is far better skater than what Getzlaf was at the same age.

I know you're Canadian I remember bc your a north bay fan haha but I'm just saying IMO Eichel is overrated.

Just a matter of opinions I guess haha I think it really depends on what teams picking 1st to be honest with you.

Definately. If a Canadian team gets first, it will be McDavid. If a team in full rebuild (Buffalo, Carolina) gets it, it's McDavid. But I think the only teams considering taking Eichel first would be Philly or New Jersey.
