Hey Hab what do you think of the habs shopping or taking offers on Gorges? I thought he was probably their most steady and reliable defenceman

He is there most defensively responsible defenceman great shot blocker and is pretty mobile. I think if they are really shopping him it will be more about getting a better lefty righty ratio so guys like emelin and markov won't have to play on there wrong side. much like the Toronto deal for polak. gunnerson has way more skill then polak but the leafs needed a right hand shot and wanted to get tougher to play against. also in montreal case weaver could be signed for around 2mil and is almost equal to gorges anyway. not totally sold on if the habs are even shopping gorges but I did predict and the end of the season that one of him or emelin would not be back. we will see

Well I seriously wanted Gorges to be a Leaf, sucks that he has us in his no trade clause. I hate you Gorges!
