On the first trade it doesn’t work out as Edmonton would be over the cap, also pul is still to low in value atm to be the main piece for a top 6 winger. Prospects can have high value but when they get to the NHL and don’t do much they loose that value until they prove it again, and rn Puljujärvi hasn’t brought his value to that level yet. On the second trade, it’s Gregg pateryn not Jeff, habs trade a top 4 D a top 6 forward a 7-8th D and a 3rd for a 7-8D a young top 9 forward a 2nd and a meh prospect? Just looking at what the wild paid for Donato do you think Habs would pay more for him?

No, Eberle doesn’t go back, if he or the team wanted to reunite he would have signed as a UFA. That deal isn’t realistic at all also because of cap reasons. Literally can not happen. I would make that trade tho, but it can not happened and NYI say no.

If montreal wants to be á playoff team they better not do this deal.

Would islanders trade eberle for the his package?

HABS would have zero interest in bringing back Pateryn.

Petry is getting seriously undervalued here. He's been playing like a 1st pair dman for the past 2 years. Habs pass, easily
