Look memarcusjoe we get you think all Jet plays are gods among men. But to say a 50+ player that puts up more effort then Laine and a 20+ speeder that is great on the PK as garbage is extreme even by your stakes.

No CTC55 your post really shows how biased you are. To say that a barely 50 point player like Drouin, that is a team cancer and is being run off if his second team for putting in zero effort and thinking he's entitled and a 30+ year old, marginal 4th liner like Byron have much value just shows that you can't be objective if you try.

Just educate yourself on Laine's career stats against Drouin's, so you aren't so ignorant on the subject.

Honestly Memarcus Byron is a great bottom 6 player I’d like to have on my team. Not saying he has a ton of value but not some scrub. Drouin wasn’t run off Tampa, he was traded at his request Tampa didn’t want to move him. He’s being run off his first team the same way Laine is. Not saying Jets take this deal but there a difference between not as good as Laine and hot garbage.

I’m not talking about Laine tho Ik the proposal is weak I never said it was good enough to get him. But there is a few things to clear up
1) Drouin’s teammates and coaches have been praising his commitment to get better, never once since joining Montreal has he been a “dressing room cancer”.
2) Byron isn’t a 4th liner he is a solid middle 6 player that can go up and down your lineup and match the line he’s with saying he’s a marginal 4th liner (assuming you mean almost AHL level) shows how much you have blinders on because in the past 3 years he’s had a 20+ goal pace year and is an amazing PK specialist.

So you can rather read what someone is saying and understand when someone calls you out on value of players the example of you saying Drouin can maybe get a 7/ 8 D in a 1 for 1. Do some evaluation on the players next time. Instead of thinking any none Jets player is garbage.

@memarcusjoe if you think Drouin is garbage, then you must think Little, Morrissey and Hellebuyck are garbage, because they're pretty much in the same tier of players.
