I don’t think this will happen as Habs are high on Suzuki which they should be but white also just signed a long contract that can look like a steal in the end.

Ottawa also has Poehling. I honestly don’t know if he actually plays center, or is just listed there for whatever reason. That contract of White’s is ridiculously team friendly. How they keep convincing players to accept less than market value is beyond me (*ahem*) Gardiner.

I think it’s a great prop. White and Suzuki are very similar players. Habs have lots of depth at center right now. They can afford to swap out for someone else to fill in the bottom six guys. Not sure Suzuki is the one, but he’s got the ball started rolling. It might just end up the way it was supposed to be.
