Eh, I think the Ottawa deal is fair but at the same time not really necessary for the Oilers.
Gagner’s contract expires next season, and he’s still a fine 3rd like player. Would rather have him on the third line for a year than give up a second.
On the PulJ deal the conditionals really make it more complicated than it needs to be. Don’t see the Rangers handing out conditional firsts.
PulJ + 2nd for Buch?

Ya I agree Gagner is a decent playmaker and should really help round out the bottom 6 and help with the lack of secondary scoring the oilers had last year. I would much rather keep him at 3m than give him away for basically nothing.

Lol he put that up by playing with McDavid on the PP and top line for awhile. Buchnevich is younger and has shown 30 goal potential especially if put with McDavid.
