Montreal gets enough money to pursuit a big guns in RFA offer and get a young center and defence

Colorado get Drouin and have 2 solid line
Drouin Mackinnon Rantanen
Landeskog Kadri Donskoi or nieto or Burakovski.

If MTL can get that for Drouin, I'm all for it. Drouin does have a good contract so I see why he would have a lot of value but that seems like a lot for him. Buy if Colorado really wants to reunite Drouin to Mackinon, they might do it.

I don’t mind the trade I just feel COL acquired Burakovsky to be in the top 6. I think they went from not having a 2nd line to having a really solid top 6.

Replace Timmons with a 2nd then it’s not bad. Timmons looks like he’s going to be a solid top 4 dman doubt Colorado moves him.

No from Colorado. I think Drouin has a ton of untapped skill and potential yet but Timmins if he can stay healthy could be s top pairing d man and jost might not have as high a ceiling as Drouin but won’t be far off, not to mention their age and controllability. Think it’s just too much from Colorado.

Timmins is a head case. Talk about Ekblad and his concussions, Timmins is worse. Jost hasn’t done much of anything. Drouin is worth much more than this.
