How would people feel about Marner for Gaudreau? Obviously Toronto would have to add a bit but I just want your opinions

Calgary has no reason to as they don’t want to mess anything up on the Gaudreau Monahan Lindholm line.

Gaudreau is .98 PPG and Marner is .93 PPG. Marner is 3 years younger. Please explain Mantha why the leafs add quite a bit. You are one of the main reasons why people can’t have a normal conversation on this site. You judge by the jersey a player wears.

Well Marner can do litterly everything Guadreau can And on top of that can kill penalties and has the heart to battle in the corners.

As players I think value is even, marner younger and bigger, gadreau has a steal of a contract like MacKinnon. Both teams would want an add though, as both players mean do much more to the teams.

Marner is very one dimensional. Gaudeau plays at both end of the ice and will get 90+ points for years to come. You win Stanley cups with guys like Gaudreau, you win president cup with guys like Marner.

I don’t see the point. Unless Leafs bring in a Norris caliber right hand defenseman to play beside Reilly, Marner ain’t going anywhere.

Marner is one of only a few players on the leafs that play at both ends of the rink. You obviously don’t like Toronto so your opinions are warped.

I actually like every Canadian team, even Toronto. I like them more then the Jets. I really liked Nazem Kadri, thought he was a really good 2 way center, but for what they got for him, I would of traded him too. @Leafs17 My opinion altought u do not like it, is what I believe and is not influenced by any supposed personal biased.

@sosa: TOR would add because the players are comparable, pree much equally good, but one has a 6.sthM cap hit and the other demands and will prolly get almost double of that. It's as easy as that.

I kinda think Calgary adds, I'm closer to a Calgary fan but marner has a more complete game. Draisaitl >maner>gudreau. Gudreau has no defensive game whatsoever.
