I really need to know your thinking here Mantha. Laine nearly scored as many goals as Kotkaniemi had points in Laine’s worst season of his young career. Let me guess, Kotkaniemi is the best defensive center in the game? He’d have to be miles above Bergeron for him to compare to Laine. We all know you’re extremely bias but at least explain your reasoning.

1st, they would take that in a heartbeat, 2nd, Montreal or any other team would have to be looking at the 18 year old Laine. If you watch the team, as I do, Laine is a liability on the ice. Yes 30 goals but his inability to be an team 1st player is not there today.
