Gargantuan no from CBJ. You want them to take on Zaitsev’s contract (a guy they don’t need btw) AND retain on Wennberg? You’re dreaming. And, even if you took Zaitsev out, Kadri doesn’t equal Wennberg and Anderson so it’s still a no from CBJ.

Wennbergs been playing terrible lately, ask a lot of CBJ fans. Kadri definetely gets that package by himself, adding Zaitsev and asking for retention on Wennberg is a no tho, imo.

So you want CLB to take a cap dump and to retain on a good young center who's having a bad season but had 59 points when he was 22? No way, Wennberg himself is clost to the value of Kadri, yes he's having a bad season but he's going to get back on track and he's signed long term at a good contract if he gets his game going again and he will.
