If the Kevin Hayes to Toronto are true I came up with a Trade Proposal.

Rangers Trade
Hayes
McQuaid

Leafs Trade
Gardiner
CBrown
IScott (AHL)
2nd Round Pick 2019

Rangers could flip Gardiner at the Deadline for Picks and Prospects but gives them a bottom 6 Winger that's solid in CBrown a solid Goaltending Prospect in IScott plus a 2nd Round Pick for 2 expiring Contracts.

The Leafs add 2 solid Players for there Playoff run without disrupting to much on the current Roster, Gardiner will be missed but they still have Rielly, Muzzin and Dermott for offence from the backend.

Thoughts?

Leafs won't trade scott gards is a free agent and brown has little value.

I feel like Hayes could be a nice add but not so much about McQuaid. And Is that not a lot to offer for them?

I think McQuaid is exactly what they need McJ. They don’t have anyone with a nasty side. He also would come fairly cheap.
