Spits on your face* not Dubas. lol
However, for this proposal I do believe Carolina still rejects. Gardiner will walk at the end of the year, so they give away Ferland for nothing.
Faulk and a 6th for top 9/ bottom 6 fwd, good d prospect and a 4th. Hmm, don't see a reason why carolina does this, maybe if a more offensive forward and a more of a immediate impact prospect was included. Carolina has no need for Liljegren.

It's one of your better ones value wise I'll give you that. i guess it would depend on whether carolina thinks they can resign gardiner or if they feel they can move him again before the deadline for something else they can use.

Carolina doesn’t need defensemen. They want forwards Period. Simple as that. They have over $30M already invested in defensemen, and Bean, Fleury, McKeown wasting in the AHL. Gardiner is not an improvement over Faulk (who also happens to be one of Carolina’s captains), and is pending IFA looking for a big pay raise that notoriously cheap Carolina can’t pay him. Liljegren would be wasting away in AHL for them along with all those other high quality players.

Faulk for Gardiner is a pretty lateral move but easily the best value wise post I've seen you make.

Better post pinball, but still a no from Carolina. I agree with notdelusionals points, but I don’t think any defensive prospects should be going back to Carolina, they need forwards the most and scoring forwards.

Ferland is a UFA just like Gardiner #notdelusional so both are on expiring Contracts, so Ferland can walk to, which makes what you said make no sense.

Would replacing Gardiner for Kaapanen do it?
I don't see why Carolina would want Gardiner, D isn't there issue. Some forwards would help. not sure Toronto wants to get rid of Kapp though. I wouldn't wanna.

But teams in playoffs like UFA’s while teams out of playoffs have no need for them. So like Habby said if they can flip Gardiner before the deadline I think they consider it. Otherwise they can trade them both individually at the deadline for a better return.

Carolina trading away a UFA has a purpose, they want something back in return that will help long-term. Carolina getting back a UFA does them absolutely no good as they are not in a playoff spot, unless they again flip that player. So yes, what i said does make sense.

Well notdelusional, Carolina is 1 point out of a playoff spot. Do you think they are giving up on the season?

Carolina wants a 1st+ for Ferland, Gardiner isn’t even close. And the rest of those craps aren’t close to getting Faulk.

Flipping Gardiner will get you a lot more than Ferland #notdelusional so yes it makes sense for Carolina.

Gardiner is worth more than Ferland #Vertius and you say Gardiner isn't even close? Both are on expiring Contracts but as a Top Defenceman it's laughable that you say Gardiner isn't even close straight up for Ferland.
